Hi there,

does anyone have any information about these frames?
Couldn´t find any posts on them. Pictures would be appreciated too (frames look nice, but couldn´t find builds).

I think the 236 and 268 'race' bikes are by far their most popular frames outside China (dunno about Chinese market).  Think a few people buy their gravel stuff too.  Never really heard anything about the endurance ones you're interested in, or their MTB stuff - though the new XC / down country framesets have caught some attention.

Also their newly listed WCB-R-369 looks pretty interesting.  Aero and 32mm clearance.

The Workswell WCB-R-366 looks interesting... and also pretty nice.

It doesnt have the tall stack of other endurance frame. Looks more race oriented to me. It has a high potential for quite a bit of tire clearance given the Axle to crown distance in the fork and the T47 bb shell. Could be interesting if anyone could get them to send an engineering drawing to see how much it can clear. Seat stays could be the limiting factor though.

I own a 268 - one of the first I guess,  since then there were some changes in the handlebar and fork (i like my handlebar..)

The quality of the frame is hard to tell just by eye 
What I could see from the inner parts looked very neetly manufactured.
There's a German bike selling company, that sells Workswell frames also one of the gravels. "Racextract" is their name.
And "benotti" bikes sells the 268.

From my side I am very happy with my 268. Has 2000km on the road and almost 10000km on the power trainer. Since it didn't collapse right now,  I guess that's a good sign. On the road I hit some very bad pottholes and nothing happened.
Guess they are not the cheapest around... but I don't remember exactly how much I had to pay. Roughly 1000€ for frame, handlebar, seatpost, headset, chameleon paint, shipping and taxes. But that was in summer 2019....
The chameleon turned out to be much darker than expected from the photos.. this is maybe the only thing that is not perfect .
Instead of purple gold it's black with slight purple gold shimmer on top..

1k for a frame (hbar) is a bit steep i will admit compared to velobuild but glad its working well for you!

It's completely internal with an integrated cockpit, right? And as I wrote this was the sum for everything,  all parts , painting, shipping, taxes
For my downcountry frame i paid a lot more recently. 
The bare 268 frame was of course a lot cheaper. I don't think going with e.g. a comparable Carbonda will  be cheaper ...

That seems extremely high compared with what I've been quoted by WorksWell in the past.  Whilst not as cheap as Velobuild or TanTan, I'd say they were broadly similar to DengFu.  Cheaper than ICAN.  Maybe they drastically increased prices though.

I said it is the sum of everything, and then I had to pay taxes since I took EMS for my first frameset.

The Carbonda 707 is even slightly more expensive with currently700  for the same amount of material (got this information from another forum).
I looked up the old invoice. If you still say it's much more expensive I give up.

Usually new stuff is more expensive at the beginning, I would guess not uncommon. Other framesets were cheaper, but I was aiming for the geometry of the 268, low front, but short.
 I don't think i have been gouged.i received one of the first 268 frames. I paid in June '18 a predeposit, paid the full price after it has been painted d received it November '18.  So much earlier than your request.
How expensive was it in your quote? Was it 268?
When I asked for a Hardtail frame last year I had the feeling, that new models were more expensive than older ones.
Although I don't need a new frame, but if it has come cheaper maybe it's an idea for a friend.

Workswell quoted me US$799 + $259 shipping for a WCB-R-136 last year (inc. bar/seatpost). I guess some of their frames are just more expensive than the likes of Velobuild. Nice looking paint job Pedaldancer!

As this discussion moves more into frames from Workswell rather than just the two aboved mentioned, I changed the subject of this thread.

I have some informations about the WCB-R-366 and WCB-R-358 frames. They plan availability in the next half year. So probably the same goes for the WCB-R-369.

They gave me also informations about the WCB-R-316.

Weight :
Frame: 1020±10g (size 54cm)
Fork: 430±15g
Seatpost : 200±10g

EXW Price:
WCB-R-316=749USD （include: frame, fork, seatpost, clamp; black matte/glossy finish)
Front and rear thru axles=28USD
Headset+spacers=20USD

Regarding the handlebar to fit this frame, we have two version for your checking:
1. Integrated handlebar with stem WHB-027  size: 400*90/400*100/420*100/420*110/420*120/440*110/440*120mm

2. WHB-026 handlebar  Size: 400/420/440mm
    WSC-012 stem         Size：90/100/110/120mm

EXW Price:
WHB-027=149USD
WHB-056=89USD
WSC-012=69USD

Shipping cost to Germany by WXY include tax line=249USD (Include tax, transit time: 15-30 working days)

So overall more expensive than VB or TanTan. But I have to say, the costumer support seems to be much better.

I actually just realised that the WCB-R-268 frame discussed in this thread is (as far as I can see) the same frame as a Velobuild VB-R-099. The frame looks identical and the geometry table is identical, although the shape of the fork looks somewhat different.

The VB-R-099 is $499 (plus $117 shipping), including integrated handlebar, axles, seat post and spare derailleur hanger/headset spacers. That's like 40% less than a Workswell WCB-R-268! Certainly makes me question Workswell pricing. Personally I had a very positive experience with Velobuild. My many questions were answered quickly. The frame/wheels were shipped within 48 hours of ordering and they arrived with me in the UK in less than 3 weeks.

  that's very cheap ..499 for frame and handlebar. Crazy. At least the geometry is the same. Don't mind if the fork is a bit  different,  I think that's a cheap way of creating some variation in the design. Nice shot!

But .. the size 46 has been cut away. that's my size..  . I am not so small... but i have a different handlebar and it came with 100mm reach instead of 80. That's why i took 46. Overall that's great cause the position on the center of the bar is quite relaxed. So I am still happy  .
By the way.. I would buy it again. Also at Workswell.  I lost a screw of the derailleur hanger last summer and Stephie immediately sent me photos of the correct screw.
But cheaper is of course attracting me
