Holy moly... I just finished my first  real ride... its fast... like really fast. I am cruising at about 16-18 mph on flat with out much effort. and maxed doing almost 40 down hill that was a bit scary. the hill wasnt smooth enough 😅... I cant wait to see how it breaks in.  my catrike 700 I am doing like 8-10 mph... I think I need to go over it again to make sure I am rolling well.

but I rode for an hour not being tired at the end. I could go for hours on this bike.

I have a problem with wavy wheels. This is peak aesthetic for this bike and likely how I'll leave it except for some stem adjustments later on.

OMG What a freaking weapon! That looks ridiculously cool. Purple is my favorite color too. Did you find the purple on Pantone or was this their purple option?

Thanks! I love how it came out. I painted the frame in Digital Violet from Aston Martin.

I love me some purple as well but I also love mint and teal and turquoise. So I went for that.....I want to do a purple gravel next time around. with some matte plum gray or something of the like and some metal flake purple or glitter. I just dont know yet. But a the gravel grape is in the mix.

Did you just tell them you wanted "Digital Violet from Aston Martin"?  ....I would steal this color for my purple and white fade paint job I'm hoping to do.

Also, I may have missed it but are those genuine Princeton wheels?

Lmao no they are not. Weight is within 50g of an authentic pair. For the paint, I did it myself. You can see progress pics in this thread if you look back some pages.

How is the  crosswind with those. I notice it with my 60mm rims.

They've been great so far. A little more push than my 65mm rims. I plan on swapping tires to Continental Aero 111 as they review to be much more linear in regard to wind.

I just got some Continental  4 seasons as they seemed like the balance of speed and durability and long lasting. This is my fun go fast and far bike.
