I'm intrigued to eventually get my hands on the new Elves Falath EVO to compare against my T1500. And while any "performance" differences will probably be marginal at best between the two, especially for recreational riders, my suspicion is the Elves wont be as good. Hoping I'm proven wrong.

Yea, I agree. For me, it’s a weird gray area between buying from an established western brand for slightly more money, or going cheap from other Chinese offerings at/around $1000 USD. Like if I want a “cheaper” crit build I can crash, I’m not spending that much seeing as I could buy 2 frames for less than that from other brands (my Velobuild was less than $800 shipped with a custom paint job). Even the Elves is like $1100. Just not sure what you’re getting for that extra $800-1000. If I wanted to spend the extra money I’d probably just buy from a western brand with more/easier customer support.

- All major brands have been increasing their prices year over year. Winspace has kept their T1500 pricing constant for the past 3 years until this new update of the T1550. Even if Winspace made no tangible updates the frame, I don't think it's unreasonable for a price increase after 3 years.

- And 3 years later I'm still struggling to find a T1500 alternative that's sub-$2000, a pure aero frame, and is actually being used by racing professionals. SEKA Exceed and Yoeleo R12 come to mind, but good luck trying to find either one in stock. And Yoeleo's support is awful at the moment

- The current Allez Sprint comes to mind too. Sadly I will most likely sell my Allez this summer though because I just don't love it the same as my T1500. Great for racing obviously.

- Speaking of racing, I've also used the VB-168, VB-177, Dengfu R12, and Yoeleo R6 in prior events. The 168 is easily the worst of the bunch when pushed to the limits. But if crashing is a concern then get an Allez Sprint.

The only crime Winspace has committed recently is those updated paint schemes and ChatGPT written product descriptions.

Interesting, I’m having a very different experience with the 168. Very little difference between it and my Tarmac SL7 apart from weight. And I’m no world tour sprinter but even pushing 1600W in a sprint it feels great. It’s my dedicated crit bike now over my SL7 for the crash replacement ability. And at less than half the price of an Allez Sprint, there’s no way I’d pick the Allez over it.

It's just a personal opinion from an amateur racer I would take that with a grain of salt as people win races on much worse bikes than a VBR-168.

Can you confirmt the tire clearance on the T1500 for me? Website says 28C, but I am wondering if anyone has tried a 32 c and got it to fit
