You wouldnt prefer to have a slightly lower 1600/1800 lumens BUT with higher battery capacity that will last longer?

The majority of the high lumen LED bicycle lights have multiple intensity/lumen settings. Its been a long time since the I did some W=V*A calculations that are associated to lumen outputs of LEDs. There is a direct correlation that the lower lumen output equals less watts consumed by the light = a longer lasting battery. In general, the larger the battery mAh per the battery voltage, the longer a light will last. OTOH, the larger the battery the more weight you carry.
I have used these lights on my bikes in the recent past: X-Tiger QD1301T, X-Tiger QD-0201, and the X-Tiger QD-0202. For overkill, I used the M3 remote battery
link below, and have used an iGPSport VS800 on my road bike. (I almost never ride my road bike at night.)
Other comments:
- Since I am an older rider, I need more lumens than less. I used to ride with 400 to 600 lumen headlights for years along with a 400 Lumen helmet head light.
- These days, having a higher lumen fixed bike light is about all I need. I stopped bringing my helmet light on Bike packing trips. (less weight)
- On bike camping trips I also carry one of those White LED rear tail light that is about 60 lumens, that I use around camp, instead of using the bright headlamp.
(I have my box of older lights, that are almost a bike-light graveyard.)

The link below shows the M3 headlight that runs off of 12V. I found this light to be overkill for bikepacking, but is great for night time downhills MTB riding. So bright, that other riders complained about being blinded.
