SUMC has some 13 speed chains: https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005007401703860.html
Not sure if that cassette would work with Sram or campy chains, or maybe just a regular 12s chain. I have Sensah ARX 1x13 groupset on one of my bikes, with Sunshine cassette and KMC X12 chain, I can say it works better than I expected.

Only compatible with 10-46 cassette. Even the Garbaruk needs modification of the pulley.

Garbaruk hast 10-52, thats needs adjustment for sure.
But this one 11-45 should bei good without adjustment:

Lightweight ZTTO road cassette for 13 speed (11-34), first one I've with this construction for 13 speed.

Very cool, but $300 usd and ztto is a hard pass. Hopefully goldix will have one soon. Ideal argument for wheeltop.

Anyone know of the zrace rx crank with dub spindle if the spindle is long enough for MTB bb shell? I think it is but haven't tried it.

Showing as $150 USD in Australia. But agree on competition, I assume these are made by Sunshine so I'd expect others to be offering them in the near future. I'd be interested if it came in an 11-36 variant but for me 11-34 on 12 speed is a good enough balance between gaps and range.

Anyone tried these flattop SUMC chains that are claimed to be shimano compatible https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005010447593666.html ?

I'm looking small front lamp like Bontrager Flare to put under computer mount.

Have you something maybe like this tested? It's not supposed to illuminate the route because I'll probably only drive during the day, it's just supposed to warn oncoming drivers.

Hi

Anu suggestion for a front light for bike packing?

Thank you.

I use this for daytime riding and my wife has another one just like it. Slow flash mode in the daylight is great and LONG lasting.

Thank you.

When we go bikepacking or want ride into the night, this is excellent as it has a replacable AAA battery on top of being rechargable also it has a cutoff.

Hi

Anu suggestion for a front light for bike packing?

Thank you.

I have had fantastic luck with X-Tiger.   I purchased 3 different versions listed in the link.  My favorite has been the QD-1301T. I have used it for 2 different all-night rides and was able to get about 6 hours of it being constantly on by switching between lower and higher light settings depending on if I am riding on flats, climbing or descending.  I also like that is has both yellow and white LEDs.   The yellow is easier on the eyes, but when you want high contrast to see on rough rocky descents, I switch to the intense white LEDs.   (I have used the QD-1301T on 4 different 500 mile Bikepacking events, where I usually have ridden only 2 hours after dark.  I also have used the light's battery bank feature to recharge my bike computer.)

A few years ago, I purchased a 1200 Lumen King Kong light that lets you swap out an 18650 battery.  (FYI, in the link you provided, I can't tell what model might take an AAA battery.)  I was on a kick to use home assembled battery banks to use on my trips that hold 18650 batteries, and purchased a handle bar extender that has a round tube battery bank that holds 2, 18650 batteries.    I tried several different combinations of 18650 battery based systems, and didn't really settle into a system I liked.  For me, the King Kong sits in my light container, along with numerous other lower wattage lights, waiting to light up a future ride.

Over the past couple of years, I discovered that I like having a light with 2400 lumens versus 1200.  I can see so much better on higher speed night time descents.

You wouldnt prefer to have a slightly lower 1600/1800 lumens BUT with higher battery capacity that will last longer?
From the list above, which one do you have?

The majority of the high lumen LED bicycle lights have multiple intensity/lumen settings.   Its been a long time since the I did some W=V*A calculations that are associated to lumen outputs of LEDs.  There is a direct correlation that the lower lumen output equals less watts consumed by the light = a longer lasting battery.    In general, the larger the battery mAh per the battery voltage, the longer a light will last.  OTOH, the larger the battery the more weight you carry.

I have used these lights on my bikes in the recent past:   X-Tiger QD1301T, X-Tiger QD-0201, and the X-Tiger QD-0202.  For overkill, I used the M3 remote battery link below, and have used an iGPSport VS800 on my road bike. (I almost never ride my road bike at night.)

Other comments:
- Since I am an older rider, I need more lumens than less.   I used to ride with 400 to 600 lumen headlights for years along with a 400 Lumen helmet head light.
- These days, having a higher lumen fixed bike light is about all I need. I stopped bringing my helmet light on Bike packing trips. (less weight)
- On bike camping trips I also carry one of those White LED rear tail light that is about 60 lumens, that I use around camp, instead of using the bright headlamp.

(I have my box of older lights, that are almost a bike-light graveyard.)

The link below shows the M3 headlight that runs off of 12V.  I found this light to be overkill for bikepacking, but is great for night time downhills MTB riding.  So bright, that other riders complained about being blinded.
