I have been using this light for over a year now.  I love it!

https://www.aliexpress.us/item/2255801127497663.html

It is very bright when in it brightest mode, and it has 2 different light frequencies, a more yellow color and white light.    On my has bike camping trip, I thought I would be smart and only bring this headlight.  I tried using it in my tent and it was way to bright as a nightlight.  (LOL)

I have one of the iGPSports VS1200  headlights that I received as a freebee when I purchased my iGS800 bike computer.  It is a good light, but I like having the large battery in my XTiger  QD-1301T

Pretty good light, what's the weight of it?

I need some advice regarding chainring compatibility. On my previous gravel bike, I ran the Wuzei chainrings in 40T, 44T, and 46T sizes for quite a while. My drivetrain setup back then was a Shimano derailleur/shifter paired with a SRAM cassette and a SRAM X01 chain. That setup worked flawlessly.

Recently, I built up a new frame and decided to switch to a full Shimano drivetrain (including a Shimano chain and casette). However, I'm now running into an issue: the Wuzei chainrings don't seem to play nice with the Shimano chain. When the chain leaves the bottom of the chainring, it tends to stick to the teeth slightly, causing a weird skipping/snagging/snapping effect.

Has anyone else noticed compatibility issues between these specific chainrings and Shimano chains? I never experienced anything like this with SRAM chains.

I'd really appreciate any insights, workarounds, or alternative chainring suggestions that work well with a full Shimano setup. Thanks in advance!

For not blinding oncoming traffic, you need a light with a beam cut-off. For winter/night riding, I use a MagicShine HORI 1300PRO, and it’s almost as bright as car headlights. It’s on the expensive side, but it’s well made.

I'm also very happy with the Hori 1300. Great for road riding and good enough for dawn/dusk gravel riding.

Shimano 12s HG+ chain? Afaik those are not compatible with any narrow-wide chainrings.

Shimano road and mtb use the same chain so they have to be. You just have to choose the right kind of narrow-wide chainring.

PSA, Evosid bottom brackets are junk.

Bought this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007391469313.html

Installed fine, inserted crank, it's a bit tight but the spindle gets through one side, gets stuck coming out the other and pushes the bearing out of the bb. I take it off and tap the crank out and of course the bearing comes with it, stuck tight next to the spider.

Total pointless junk. Now i've got to figure out how to get the bearing off the crank. Avoid.\

*edit: This  Goldix BB was also junk. It at least managed to keep itself together through a couple of crank installs but when i finally tightened everything up it didn't spin well at all and had a weird resistance spinning forward that wasn't there spinning in reverse.

No more cheap BB's for me.

Another PSA. Not sure if I've mentioned this already but this RIRO dropper post is complete trash.

It seized really quickly when i used it after mounting. Total failure.
