Same here. Started buying these when the originals were out-of-stock practically everywhere in Europe. No difference whatsoever in my eyes.
It still is, no stock in europe. Also for replacement heads. Original is like €55 and on Ali theyre €28. Good to hear, ill give them a go

Light bottle cages that seem to hold the bottle well and are easy to put the bottle back into whilst riding along.

Regarding bottle cages, I have these ones, that were suspiciously cheap, but they are amazing, especially for such low price.

General on carbon bottle cages. Sizing and holding in place is no problem. But they tend to really tend to shift paint/resin on water bottles. At least on gravel bike. While on road bike the bottles stay mostly clean, on gravel bike is a no-go. If bopttles are not black, they look ugly as hell after few rides.

Does anybody have similar experiance on gravel bikes?

Would expensive carbon botle cage be any different?

I have the same issue when on gravel (dust, dirt, water, stones etc) get on the bottles and simply moving them in and out will destroy the surface of the bottle no matter what cage you use. I have a separate set of bottles for that bike. Replace yearly.

Ive got those on 3 road bikes. Total weight weenie stuff.
No issue at all with them.
Bottles hold nice.
Cheap as dirt.

As far as Mt biking or thrashing about thru the woods....probably not the best.

I picked up a Cyclami X7 front light for winter commuting and I'm really liking it:

Very strong beam cutoff with a modern squared beam profile. The garmin-style mount can be flipped for top or bottom mounting and it uses replaceable lithium batteries. It also came with a battery, which while it is probably a low quality cell, it was a pleasant surprise. Really impressed with the quality so far.

Some of my camelbak podiums are over 10 years old. Scratched as hell.

I just want water bottles that hold the bottle tightly. Scratches on a water bottle are not a problem if it stays in the cage.

It was being reffered to carbon bottle cage. As resin and epoxy goes from the botle cages to bottles. Not exactly ideally at washing the bottles with sponge,... Its not just about estetics. Unless you throw away the sponge every time you do it.

Have them as well, and I gotta say I don't really like the look – they kinda look (and feel) flimsy, and they barely hold my Elite FlyTex bottles. They're fine on road, but if it get's even a little rough, I wouldn't trust them.
For gravel, I have these titanium ones, they're super tight: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005010021739109.html

Hadn't really thought about that. I don't really fuss too much about getting the outside super clean, but something to keep in mind.
