1. Response time to display incline/grade: My unit seems to lag behind the actual grade of the hill I am climbing. Often takes 5-6 seconds to recalculate and display the grade changes. (I will have ridden past a steep section of a climb before it displays what the grade was.)
2. On really steep climbs, often 20+% grades, I may have to walk or can be pedaling at around 2mph, the computer stops recording, after 20 to 30 second it will stop recording, and/or turn off until I go faster than 2mph.
the grade update I find it slow on my Bryton420 too, the units seem to rely on the last few meters to calculate the slope, and it ends up taking some time. I don't have any experience with more expensive units from Garmin or Wahoo, so I don't know if the high-end models are instant or all have some delay
about the pause feature, have you tried turning off auto-pause? or in some units you can setup a minimum speed for it to pause/resume, try looking for that on the setup.
I know it's frustrating but I think that's a situation with any unit, my Bryton auto-pauses when I'm slower than 5kmph
I also noticed the IGPSport IGS630 isn't on AliExpress. I'm wondering which would be a better buy between the the IGS630 and BSC300? Do both offer navigation or just pre-loaded route mapping? I haven't used a proper nav system yet, because I tend to just get lost to find interesting routes!
For the igs630, since it's their top model, IGPSport is trying to focus on local dealers, and then Aliexpress becomes an issue since they ship anywhere in the world and region blocking is hard, so better to just avoid having it there in any way
about the differences, igs630 has bigger screen and battery than bsc300
talking features and data field config they're pretty much the same, but igs630 has more fields (since bigger screen), and the big difference is the navigation experience
on bsc300 you have routes, and the whole map is shown also - city blocks, near streets, etc and you can zoom in/out - but if you leave the route it'll not adjust, it'll just say you're out, it's sort of an 'offline navigation'
now, for igs630 you have the full navigation, you can upload routes and it adjusts if you make a detour, and it also has the 'climb' feature seen (similar) in Garmin and Wahoo
at least that's what I gather from reviews I've seen
now, the 'better buy' I believe it's personal, from your budget and what you need more, too. For me, the differences are not worth the upgrade since it's a lot more money
