Don't forget Essa which also has drop bar shifters now.
The CUES 11s shifters look rebrands of 105 R7000 which is not a bad thing.

Not AliExpress, but for those in the US affected by tariffs, this might be the next best thing for groupset upgrades on the cheap. Shimano announced their drop bar shifters for Cues:

$900 doesn’t really come across as a budget group set.

Why would you pay 900 if you can get 2x11 Ulterga and 105 for a lot cheaper? Or even 2x12 105?

Merlincycles has GRX 1x12 for less than $600.
Not sure what Shimano is trying to do with Cues priced that high.

... raise the price of GRX, 105, Ultegr, and maybe Tiagra while they're at it. When this is the 'budget' group, I'm guessing their refreshed versions will be MUCH higher.

Prices mentioned in the article as published by Shimano are never translated 1:1 in real life. That CUES groupset will be available for $400 or less just like the 105 R7000 in no time. In fact, R7100 is also down to $450 ish on so no reason for CUES to be $900 despite what Shimano prices it at.

Those are just CUES official prices. Actual retail sale prices should be much lower. I think the big news is that the Cues drop shifter will play nice with MTB rear derailleurs. This will open up low gear gravel bike options.

just spotted fake rotor aldhu cranks, spindles and chainrings

Avalius

They say this is only compatible with Dura Ace and Ultegra. I wonder if I could get away with using it on 105...

They appeared on the ryet store a few days ago  the 105 models, just a headsup

Just came across this suspension stem and has one decent  sounding review on aliexpress.

Might be a decent cheaper alternative to the redshift stem and better than the redshift and eesilk fakes? But only comes in two sizes and is heavy

It would be nice to see the adapterless calipers for 160mm rotors trickle upwards in Shimano's line-very clean look.

Ultramic

I would ignore those RRP prices for the drop bar Cues. If it's anything to go by, the flat bar 1x11s Cues groupset sells for $150-$200 on Aliexpress - it's just missing the brake levers and calipers.

Regarding the 182g 11-34t cassette, I contacted ZTTO and they said this is definitely an all-steel cassette. I'm wondering if they're testing out this design since it's only available for 11 speed? It looks similar to the mixed steel-alloy cassette construction, but instead they made the big cog spider all-steel (this section is usually alloy). The other lightweight steel cassettes uses a riveted/torx screwed section for the big cogs hence the slight weight increase.

Side note on these, I got one and it shipped with a couple dime-size blobs of grease inside the cassette body. Actually having a hell of a time getting it clean, though I suppose it would be easy with an ultrasonic parts cleaner.
