420g whats even the point

I guess it's for those who have 3 bolt power meters or want access to more 3 bolt chainrings, but want the bigger axle. The Riro 29mm crankset switched to the Shimano DM style with limited 2x chainring options. The Riro 29mm axle crankset comes in at 399g. All the non-carbon 29mm alloy axle, 3 bolt cranksets are like 500g plus.

Folks are spoiled. A year ago your options for cranks in these weight areas were 2x the price.
I went down this rabbit hole recently, and too many cranks use the shimano dm standard, which is sorta useless for a 2x road bike. Easton standard is "ok" I guess, but I really like the sram mount as I don't need "another" tool to deal with a lockring.

At least 50g for a spider, around 160g for chainring if you're getting very expensive ones and we're already well over 600g. A da 9200 crankset with rings comes in under 600g for one of the stiffest cranks on the market.

Racework 3-bolt DUB crank is claimed 420g (not sure for what length), and the 3-bolt direct mount chainrings for 50-34 (no spider needed) are claimed at 180g, for a total of 600g.

It means you have smaller bearings (i.e. shorter bearing life) in some instances (mostly BB86), but there is substantially less risk of the crankset shearing.

 Is that the one just to get the bolt loose using the pedal axle hole ? If so I hope it work work for taking off the stupid SRAM Red rings as well. I have removed the rings without but if anyone saw me they would cringe LOL

 Is that your crank ? I want to see the sub 600 one you said was out there.

 Also, this is mind blowing - depending on the configuration the weight goes up. It's like the extra material is heavier or something like that.

 I want this unicorn sub 600g crank you have.

 Those seem to be a good one from the reviews I have seen and they are one of the better looking ones, the less branding the better. I think the huge golden lettering looks god awful on the N1. Give be a bare 3k or UD weave anyday.

Sorry but I can't understand...
If the N1 crankset weight 434 + 170ish of chainring you reach 604g ish.
The posted DA9200 is 685gr reported from R2 bike.

Are you doing all this to save 80g?
Are you comparing a robust, tested, longlasting product as DA9200 to save 80g with a flexy crankset you will need to check regularly and tigheten every ride?
