After all this discussion, I'll probably just stick to original 24mm Riro carbon cranks. I have no issues with those, and they hit that perfect budget-to-weight savings ratio with a little bit of risk thrown in!

All of my non-road bikes have Race Face Next R series Carbon cranks on them.   (2 sets are the SL version.) These have worked out really well for me. Over the years, I was able to purchase them for about $200 for the cranks, and up to another $150 for the axle, bottom bracket and chain ring/s.    They are lightweight and so far for me have been very durable.     In the older days, I really likes FSA lightweight carbon cranks for all of my road bikes, and some of my first mtb bikes.

I and many others have had the insert come loose from the carbon arm. RF/Easton have been good about replacing them. I'm not sure if they ever solved this problem. I presently have 2 sets of NextSL cranks in use. Both have been replaced under warranty. Otherwise I like them. They are light and the carbon itself has proven to be stiff and strong. Unfortunately, I hate the process of removing the cranks from the axle compared to other brands. It just feels unnecessarily complex to require a special tool compared to other options. I'll continue to use them until they fail and RF/Easton won't replace them.

Purchased the Growtac's not on this store, but on some other Shop### store on AliExpress that is no longer available now.
Brakes look solid, love the concept and cable routing.
Did install them, so far good to dial in and good braking with compressionless housing.
Did not have a chance to take them for a longer ride on the road (winter in central europe).

 Also, this is mind blowing - depending on the configuration the weight goes up. It's like the extra material is heavier or something like that.

A da 9200 crankset with rings comes in under 600g for one of the stiffest cranks on the market.

and one of the most unreliable power meters on the market

If you want an accurate spider/crank based power meter for a Shimano drivet train you need a good crank and I would prefer with a three bolt interface.

I bought these cheap pedals ($12) on Amazon and put over 2k miles on them. I don’t see them on Amazon anymore, but I found their Ali version. Looks exactly like the same pedal so I ordered some for my upcoming build.

I don't like bulky alloy MTB style pedals on gravel. They bang into everything and just look dumb on a drop bar bike. I actually prefer these nylon pedals with a single sided SPD clip. I bought mine last year for $9 USD, but they've gone up in price since then. They're also listed for $13 USD on the Dollar Express section, but I can't link directly, so shop around.
