Oh wow that 25° one does really look like an accident waiting to happen  ;D

How thick do you think a carbon tube's walls are?

The look of the ElitaOne version scared me, and ElitaOne has a pretty good reputation. I can only look at this one with even more horror. I just imagine where a thin carbon spear would go after that thing eventually does what it looks like it must do...  :o

YBN now has flattop chains for SRAM 12 speed. $82, so not a screaming deal but one more choice.

And on the topic of precarious looking seatpost, here's one more interesting take -

The prices of these thing are going out of hand though.

For the low price of just 133,39€ you can now get the invaluable sensation of having your ass impaled by raw, splintering carbon.

Rotors with integrated lockring - https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005008669670105.html

They don't have a lockring... They look nice though :)

This is the standard version of that same disc rotor. Slightly cheaper and more color options available:

Genuine SRAM chain is cheaper. Amazon.ca has rival at $45 and Force $70 CDN dollars. You are right though as a different option is always nice to see. They will probably get cheaper over time.
I have a hope until someone can prove otherwise.

I think he meant they already have the center lock "applied" and you don't need a 6-bolt-centerlock adapter. Those huge aero discs look rad - but quite a big price tag as of now. Gotta wait for some reviews and maybe other suppliers jumping on it.

18 months ago I bought these Kocevlo handlebars that came with a carbon Garmin mount:

https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005006561735597.html

The mount has always been quite flexy which is a little distracting as your Garmin and light vibrate over bumps. Anyway, that escalated recently as you can see in the attached picture, totally coming apart.

I've replaced it with the integrated aluminium ZRace mount from here:

https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005007716081597.html

The ZRace piece seems much higher quality - the Garmin fitting is more secure, there's no flex at all, rock solid and very secure.

It amuses me with the Kocevlo bars, the bars themselves are great but the other parts (spacers and mount) are pretty crap. I would've thought the bars would be the most difficult part to get right!

The bars may be custom made, molded carbon pieces whereas the flat components may simply be laser cut from pre-made carbon flats. They may not even make those parts themselves, and simply get them from a very low cost supplier.

I even doubt the mount is carbon. I have the same one and it is only carbon-look I think. It is fairly heavy to be real carbon.

I have no problems with it though...
