I have, their conclusion was the same I found as well. Why pay more to wear out faster when gains are marginal for a non racer ?
I have a hope until someone can prove otherwise.

that's why I said its a race chain. pretty large difference for racers.

Has anyone seen this type of semi-integrated headset cover on AliEx? I found this on US Amazon, but I can't find the AliEx equivalent as it seems to be a Chinese product.

Kocevlo also has it but I think they don't sell just the headset cover and spacers.

Interesting for sure.  Call me a traditionalist, but I just don't think an octagonal stem is for me.

I have that stem and I was planning to use it, but it was so darn heavy I opted just to have exposed cables. The spacers are designed for that style stem and the cover is screwed-in.

I'm just interested in the cover and spacers. It's definitely not $32 USD worth for me, but if the cover+spacers can be found cheaper on AliEx I might bite. I would only plan to use it on my lightweight UNO stem.

You can choose to order just the cover+spacers in the link?

Oops, thanks for pointing that out! I'm super blind!

Though I'm wondering if that cover+spacer is for that more squared style stem or will it work with the rounded stems?

Square, I think I used it on a flat FSA stem a while ago. Its not ridiculously cheap looking 3D printed shite either like some other spacers that are being sold on AliExpress. I still have the headset top cap from that set and it is comparable to OG-Evkin spacer set.

Edit to say, you are talking about the link I posted earlier, correct?

Yes your post from earlier. The one that's on Amazon is definitely for rounded stems, but I can't find it on AliEx. It's weird there are some items I can only find on US Amazon. For example I have a 2 sided T47 and centerlock disc wrench I picked up from Amazon, but I can't find that tool on AliEx despite being of Chinese origin.

That one seems quite expensive (14.20 USD for me). Here is another option as choice item for just 6.09 USD: https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005008356887109.html
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

Thanks, I am going to pick one of these up for my SRAM BBs (52mm) but I think the other side is too big for a rotors centerlock nut(49mm).
I have a hope until someone can prove otherwise.

This is the tool that I can't find on AliExpress. It's built way more solid than the other BB tools I've used. I highly recommend getting this one versus the cheaper grip-less 2-sided BB tools. This Bike Hand tool works perfect for BB86, CL rotor lockrings and T47 bottom brackets.
