Have you tried the newer ones with alcohol patches? They are very very easy to patch and hold

Are these for patching TPU tubes? Do you have any links to examples of these?

I have found the Cyclami patches to be the most robust. I'm running tubes that have been patched 3x each with the Cyclami patches and they still hold well.
My process at home for fixing:
Inflate tube and clean with soap and water quickly before it loses shape/pressure
Find hole, dry area, circle with permanent marker.
Scuff area with fine sandpaper(180-300ish works) in all directions
Clean area with alcohol, wash hands and dry completely
Press Cyclami patches onto hole and press firmly for 30sec-1min
Lay tube with the patch flat inside a book.
Stack a bunch of shit on top of the book to act as press.
Leave overnight
Inflate in the morning and hang tube to check for any leaks, squeeze gently throughout the day(s).
Put back in wheel, or into saddle bag.

On the Road:
Scuff puncture and surrounding area with sandpaper
Clean area and fingers with alcohol pads
Press patch onto area and hold for 1min
Reinstall tube and make it home.
If tire holds air in the morning then I dont mess with it. If its losing air then I do the above method with new patch.

According to experiences on weightweenies, park tool self adhesive patches on a cleaned surface are bulletproof for TPU

No link as they often come supplied when you buy tubes now. i've had them from cydy and the newer ridenow ones. they patch easier than butyl imo. I see zero use case for butyl these days, TPU is just better in every way i can think of

TPU is very difficult to patch.
I have never managed to get a hole to stay sealed above 3 bar.
I have now tried over 15 times.

Anyone tried this jersey model from YKYW?

Maybe someone stumbled onto good perforated/knitted jersey or bibs?

Have not tried this one specifically, but I regard YKYW to be the best of the AliX cycling kit brands. Too bad about those colors though.

Some recent purchases:

MPower Skinsuit : https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808160458545.html
This was an immediate return. Fabric was nice and it seemed well constructed, but the jersey part was only attached to the bib part at the back. The front wasn't continuous and had a weird overlap. It seemed problematic from the first moment I saw it.

Sun Sleeves: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805091531524.html
These are excellent. I ordered a couple extra pairs. Highly recommended. I wear a S/M Pearl Izumi sleeve, and this item in a size S is slightly roomier around the upper bicep. Really good.

SRAM brake olives: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807228715931.html
I needed some spares. These are indistinguishable from the SRAM parts.

IIIPRO Rotors : https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256808392450745.html
These have been discussed a lot. They are great. For the money I think they are unbeatable. I just did a 15k' day on them and they never warped or rubbed on my pads. They are relatively quiet and while not lightweight, they are weight competitive at a fraction of the cost. Really good.

Disc Lock Ring : https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807649909354.html
I really like these. I got them on some kind of sale. They have tripled in price. I wouldn't buy them at the current price. Really nice machining and look. Probably not as aero as a smooth domed shape, but you know....... aero is everything, except for when it isn't.

Hi all!
Has anyone had any experience with this crankset?

https://aliexpress.com/item/1005008565942046.html
It seems fairly new on AliExpress and looks like a copy of the Garbaruk gravel cranks. I really like the look of the Garbaruk ones, and this one is seriously tempting since it costs only a quarter of the original.
But of course, the obvious question is: Is it safe?
Has anyone ever heard of relatively expensive cranks like these from China failing?
I´m using the Garbaruk GRX derailleur cage knock-off which i got from AliExpress. I installed it a few months ago and it works just fine.

That's a lot of coin for an ali skinsuit/roadsuit. The Castelli SanRemo has had a build like that since introduction, to facilitate pee breaks. Its a feature, not a defect.

Anyone tried this UDH? In other topic on UDHs, direct mount Ali options are prone to gradual bending, but they had different design.Sram's UDH is crap made of pressed composite and is very easy to snap in axle clamping thread.

Same for Van Rysel Race Suit. It just design feature

I've had some time using this RiRo bike stem and I like it a lot. It works well with full and semi internal cable frames. It's a bit heavier than a lightweight UNO stem, but it feel stiff and looks serious on the bike. If you want to save a minor amount of weight, you can go with titanium screws.

I can definitely recommend them at this point! Unfortunately they come in 80/90/100 sizes only.

I’ve not tried these either but I find the fit of ykyw jerseys (https://a.aliexpress.com/_EGvfuvo) a bit odd compared to my spexcel kit (188cm 75kg skinny build). The jerseys I have are L and the material is nice but the sleeves a bit short, and the sleeves and torso are both quite loose fitting. Similar with the bibs XL are a little short.

Both brand however, have terrible jersey pockets. Not sure if it’s the position of them on my back or just incorrect stretchy material, but they can’t handle the weight of a phone. They sag down and bounce all over the place especially if you get out the saddle.

Got some 2025 specxel kit arriving today hopefully they improved the pockets.
