Added: There's a bunch of videos on Bilibili with this frameset, unfortunately I can't seem to post links on here. Also the max tire clearance is 35c which is plenty for road and light dirt.

Original: I took advantage of some of the coupon savings and ordered a budget alloy Gas Cycle road frameset. It has a 27.2mm seat post, UDH RD hanger and threaded BB68 bottom bracket. I saw a few builds on Chinese social media and thought it'd be a nice test frame for a recent Wheeltop EDS TX groupset I won for free in a contest. I already have spare wheels and other parts laying around, so this will be a total parts bin bike build.

I installed it last night. It required 2x 1mm spacers which I placed on each side to properly tighten the crankset on my BB86 frameset. I also used a 3 bolt adjustment spacer to create clearance between my drive side crank arm and my LTwoo eR9 FD. Without it, the drive side crank arm would rub against the FD. I probably could have put 2mm spacers or more on the drive side axle, but I don't like messing with the chain line too much. The ER9 FD has a narrow adjustment window of optimal performance. If I push my chain line outboard too much, front shifting is compromised.

I did run into an issue with the drive side pedal thread being too tight. I was able to get the pedal on with ample grease, but it probably needs a proper re-tap. For now I'll leave it as-is.

AliExpress has cheap taps to retap the pedal threads and they work perfectly well

Wow! The price has almost doubled in less than 2 years.   There is no Trump-tariff-inflation here in the states.

If you look at the 2 prices in the picture I attached in my last post, it shows that the prices are the same.  Plus, the purchase was in October, so there weren't any great coupons to be had. (Perhaps coins at 1% to 4%) When coupons and discounts are applied, the upper right hand prices reflects the discounts. 
In the Raceworks pedal purchase I made in March 1st, 2024, you can see the discount and even lower price, for basically the same pedal.

Since the De Minimus exemption is gone, we are all paying the full 47.5% tariff, plus processing fees and other port documetation fees.   (Total up to 57% of declared value)

These were the last shoes I purchased.   Amazingly when I sized them up versus my last shoe purchase from a 46 to a 47. The toe box was actually wide enough for my feet.  (A wide enough toes box is the problem I have with the majority of shoes I purchased from Aliexpress.)
