LTWOO ER9 & ERX - Electronic groepsets

I put clear decal tape on all my RDs and then use a heat gun to properly seal everything. I also rubber cement all the ports for additional sealing.

Do you have a photo of the problem? I'm surprised it doesn't fit. Totally defeats the purpose of having a "universal" derailleur hanger!

Ltwoo should team up with a native english speaker and redo their videos and delete the duplicate ones, maybe im an idiot but i just realised i had been doing the calibration wrong and there are no instructions at all in the app not even a link to the video's. there are also some weird quirks that are not in the pdf manual that i can see and only breifly mentioned in the videos, if you change the cells you have to charge it a bit for them to work but it wont charge off a pd charger

I am very interested in getting the ER9 V3. Does anyone have any issues with the ER9/ERX V3 groupset so far ?

Ive put around 300miles on my er7, similar to erx v3 and it has been flawless. Plenty of rain riding and mud. The FD has been a bit of a pain to trim but I think it is half LTWOO not having any auto-trim and half me not setting it up properly. Compared to my v1 erx, v3 is quicker and a bit crisper.

I'll take LTwoo's manual trim since they have full RD protection (can't cross chain in big/big or small/small). Wheeltop has auto trim, but no big/big RD protection. Only small/small. Makes no sense to me!

Current V3 ERX, ER9 and ER7 all have USB type-C charging:
- ERX has the carbon levers, carbon RD cage with shadow plus-like hanger and mono block brake calipers first seen on the EGR.
- ER9 has the alloy levers, alloy RD cage with shadow plus-like hanger and has the original LTwoo brake calipers (they're non-mono block).
- ER7 has alloy levers, alloy RD cage, standard hanger and has the original LTwoo brake calipers.

LTwoo also have new flat mount brake calipers coming out (standard post mount on their MTB groupsets), but they've yet to be available at retail.

It's written multiple times in this thread and all over the forum/internet but yes. In general you can pretty much mix and match every mineral system

This is one area Chinese groupsets have gotten right with mineral oil brakes. My buddy said he just bled his SRAM Rival DOT calipers and they felt really squishy.

I definitely prefer the option of any mineral oil based brake caliper besides the LTwoo brand ones. On two of my bikes I'm using Wheeltop EDS TX calipers paired to LTwoo ER9 shifters and ZRace XG calipers paired to Wheeltop GeX shifters.

I still struggle with an unworking groupset and I don´t expect  any services from the warranties. I´m still in contact with the support team, but they keep writing instructions for tests that all boil down to the same thing.

Has anyone already purchased a front and rear derailleur as a replacement?

I've just made an order for the new 2026 upgraded V3 version with bigger pulley cage and the newest brake caliper for 500 USD from 80 designer store.

1. Have you tried activating the groupset while plugged into the charger?
2. Have you tried re-pairing the shifters to the front and rear derailleur?
3. Do you see a light when plugged in?
4. Does the app see the groupset?
5. Can you control the groupset via the app?
6. Have you tried resetting the groupset on the app to factory default?
7. Have you tried hard resetting the rear derailleur by holding the RD button (might need multiple resets).
