Have most of the issues been ironed out with the latest erx? I'm looking at the TT version. It seems like the best deal vs going full mechanical or piecing together a sram group with hybrid mech brakes. Would it be better to buy from the ltwoo store on ali or panda podium if i were to need after purchase support? Thanks

Right, i saw a review for it and it has a big delay from pressing shift to actually shifting which makes it look not great. It also retails for 899USD, whatever works best is what i’m looking for.

after 10 years, my sram red etap left me. The rear derailleur seems died and I've discovered that plenty of sram red etap electronic derailleurs have died over time. I am considering ltwoo er9 and wheel top eds to replace it, but I am wondering about the reliability of these groupsets. Considering also the counting failures that I'm reading here, would you recommend such groupsets? I am also tempted to go back to mechanical shifting...

I've been using er9 v1 and egr and two bikes for almost 2 years. about 18000km total on two groupsets
Even though I didnt have any major problems, in my opinion they are not worth it at current prices. Just get 105di2 or rival if you want electronic shifting.

+1 on pavlo.k, dont get ltwoo.
I installed these groups on 6 or so bikes, can't recommend them unless they're cheap as chips and you have easy access to spares. Neither is true anymore unless you live in China, afaik. Crucially, Shimano di2 prices are finally coming down, i think, AND you can buy mini groups on aliexpress at good prices.

Shimano 105 Di2 cost about 980€, Ltwoo ER9 cost me about 390€. Are you kidding? For now my LTWOO works flawlessly. Maybe I’ll complain in the future, but the price of DI2 is still astronomical. What are you guys even talking about..?

you can find 105 for less than that in Europe and that's a full groupset compared to ltwoo

I paid €360 for my eR7 full groupset. That's still quite the jump, and I definitely don't think 105 di2 is twice as good as the eR7

Thank you for helping us see the light, understanding that a shimano cassette is free, a shimano chain is free, a shimano crankset is free. You must have done very well in school with that level of intelligence, you should lead the way.

Well shimano is not twice as good until ltwoo dies on you in a middle of nowhere which happened to me. Or when you break something and have to wait a couple of weeks for spares.
Ltwoo is ok when it works but after it died i now have to carry around a powerbank in case I need to revive it again.

His kit weighs less. No one is is going to run a Shimano cassette, chain and crankset. It works until it doesn't. Easy math, get a spare RD/FD and call it a day. Everything else runs fine.
