lol that would be very ltwoo of ltwoo to do just that. My friend runs a v1, we spent 200 eur to get him a new shifter, might have been the last one on AliX. Given the entire group was 400 odd eur, he was livid and considered stripping the whole group to put Shimano and be done with it.
in a nutshell, ltwoo simply doesnt care, and they explicitly say they dont care about the west. they're making increasingly good stuff, but if you can't get a group for cheap, it's likely to be a false economy to save a few coins vs shimano di2. Also, having ridden a lot of ltwoo er9 & erx, i rode a shimano di2 rim brake yesterday, the shifting quality is day and night. every click shifts on shimano. On my ltwoo bikes, sometimes it shifts great, but the reality is often, it doesnt. if you want to do a sprint, on shimano, you just shift gear and lay down the watts. On ltwoo, you're never as sure that shifting will shift properly when you want it to and so on. For most people, it doesnt matter. But the reality is that shimano, even old ones, are just more refined than even ltwoo v3. on ltwoo, maybe the battery is low, because the batteries are shit, maybe the shifter battery is low, maybe the buttons on the shifter are getting shitty, or maybe the group is having a bad day. for easy riding, it's no issue, but i'd never race on ltwoo.
almost all the problems i have on the bikes i built are because of ltwoo (shifting and brakes).

You're like a broken record. You bought 100 LTwoo groupsets and now spend your days blasting them every chance you get. Like we get it. You ever think maybe you didn't install your groupsets properly and that's why they don't shift properly? My LTwoo groupsets shift fine, my batteries are fine and I haven't had any water ingress issues. Cyclists are like a bunch of whining babies, maybe you should have bought 1 and tested it throughly.

Any intensive cycling buy Di2 or AXS, for anyone who's into DIY or like a flexibility, give LTwoo a try knowing the potential pros and cons.

At this point your posts on this thread add zero value.

And you're adding value by gaslighting and bullying people who have negative feedback with this equipment into silence? Great.
You win though, I won't post on this thread anymore. I wonder if the race teams they sponsor identify as non intensive DIY riders.
If your apology for mediocrity is truth, as apparently you're right and I'm wrong, then people should consider that an ltwoo group should not be compared to Shimano, but should be assumed to be some lame duck version of it. Price comparisons should be made accordingly.

Little update from us:

we have trying to establish Ltwoo in Europe and did buy direct at the factory in the very first days of ltwoo selling.

Due to the bad quality of the electronic groupsets, with batteries firing up etc...and due to the high quality customer service and will to improve, we stopped selling ltwoo beginning of last year.
We also sold some of the mechanical groupsets, which mostly did fine first..
Now, two seasons later, only 2 groupsets have made it with out a defect...all other groupsets are swapped to shimano or sram, as customers do not trust the groupsets.
So we burned loads of money if we calculate hours for repairs and swaps, not speaking of frustrated and angry customers....even knowing it is a china brand when buying.

Don’t worry about him, the guy is some kind of hothead. And if you push back a bit harder, he gets offended, just like here: “I won’t post on this thread anymore, boo hoo.”

He wanted to block me because I wrote something he didn’t like.

He installed 100 groupsets, and it was probably a great deal at the time, but once the groupsets started having issues, suddenly L-TWOO is the bad guy. ^^

I have an L-TWOO V3 and I’ve ridden about 1,500 km on it so far with zero problems. If it starts having issues, I can understand that, but for a groupset I paid around €350 for, including the brakes, I really can’t complain so far. Especially considering that 105 Di2 costs 3–4 times as much.

Shifting quality aside, if you buy an Ltwoo groupset, you better hope that you don't succumb to a crash. If you do, given how common the flared bars (and therefore shifters) are these days, there's a very high likelihood that you'll break a shifter on one side. From my experience, good luck with their service. Now, since they don't have a robust presence in the West, good luck getting a replacement part. I literally bought my version 3 set a year ago and they don't want to help me with a part (and that's after a long exchange just getting them to understand the very basic, not complicated situation). Literally everything else works and it's just one cheap plastic part that I need. But this sure isn't Shimano or SRAM.

What part do you need replacing? Did you contact the sales vendor with photo or video? Also I've dumped my gravel bike a bunch of times. My eGR shifters are contoured with the flare of the drops, so it's usually my flared drop bars that hit the ground first.

If you’re buying a bike or bike parts with the assumption that you’re going to crash, then… greetings xd

Crash are definitely a matter of when, not if in gravel and MTB so taking that into consideration at the time of purchase makes some sense.

The right shifter housing. Pictures attached. Oh, I've sent them several photos over aliexpress chat and email in trying to get a replacement. Doesn't or shouldn't take much explaining to know what's needed in this case, regardless. You'd think they'd keep ample stock of such a part for awhile--nope. They don't even have stock of the full shifter anymore--a year after version 3 was introduced! Not even of the eRX model. Wild
Hoping I can find a seller of the housing piece, but paying for a full shifter is fine

I think you can use eGR v1 shifters and/or possibly the newer eRX, but I can't if that will work. Someone in the US on the sale forum has an eGR v1 groupset on sale that might be worth trying. Last you could try 3D printing the shift lever. I roll with some crit guys who've even duck taped their carbon frameset due to cracks. Unless you care about matching, there might be a few options.

What is unacceptable is that Ltwoo just stopped making and offering repair parts for a groupset after 1 year. How anyone would continue to buy their products after doing that is beyond me. I won't purchase from them again knowing that if a part fails then I'm SOL because they couldn't care less about our market.
eRX parts are interchangeable. eRG is supposed to have longer shifters, so not compatible. BTW, EeRX shifters are also unavailable! Possible they eventually release more stock, but if not, Ltwoo needs to be widely denounced on forums like this so others don't fall into the same trap. It's a simple public service announcement (fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me).

Most of the problems that i have read on the ltwoo are the one that is from alix? Isn’t that the one that doesn’t come with it’s own boxes, holograms stickers for product scan etc? I wonder how’s the ltwoo set that is sold by panda podium, atleast you’ll get the support needed

I have the eR9 version 3 groupset (bought April 2025). I'm actually trying to get a replacement right plastic shifter outer housing to repair what was broken in a crash. It's taken forever with many back and forth messages to still not get finality on whether they can sell me a replacement. They're telling me this is no longer in production. Is that even possible??? They would stop production of a version they introduced the year before?
I do wonder if it came down to it if I could put the equivalent eRX piece on in its place, assuming that's still in production. I'm finding the secondhand parts market for LTWOO is tiny.

I’ve had no issues mixing components.  Im using one of the corded egrs with er7 brifters and a v3 front derailleur.  As far as I can tell there’s no issue with connectivity among groups and even the versons Ive tried

Hi, I'm reviving this thread. The seller at 318 Bike Store had me do some testing these days. I sent all the videos, and now we're talking about him shipping me a replacement rear derailleur as soon as it arrives from ltwoo. Since I don't have an ER7, he'll send me an ER9, which he told me will work with ER7 levers. He'll also send me new cables. If it arrives and everything works, I think I'll use silicone to seal around the cables. The water could only have gotten in through there...
We'll see when it arrives, and I'll keep you updated.

Hi everyone, I'm updating the situation. The 318 Bike Store seller was truly excellent. He walked me through the issue step by step, having me do tests, and I sent him videos each time so he could show them to their technician. From the videos, he determined that the problem was the rear derailleur. He sent me a derailleur, and since they didn't have an ER7 in stock, he sent me an ER9, telling me it would be compatible with my ER7 levers. Everything arrived today, I mounted the derailleur, and everything started working great again. I'm thrilled to have resolved the issue, and I was lucky to find a reputable seller who provided me with the right technical support.

the ones from pandapodium come in individual boxes with holograms i still have them if anyone really wants to see a picture. i wouldn't count on support though early on i had an issue with the battery but that was my fault, PP asked for video's of the issue and said they asked ltwoo but i never got a reply the problem was down to usb-c/pd charging. i also have an ongoing problem that sometimes my fd doesnt respond, i havnt ridden much and there was a new firmware so maybe that will help

i just noticed gear protection no longer prevents shifting to the small chainring while in 11 and 12, i think it happened since they added back auto trim is this the same for everyone else?
