I bought 2 weeks ago 8 barbs + 8 olives with oring Ltwoo on Aliexpress and payed 9,50€ for that, shipping free.

i somehow managed to break the battery holder by putting vapcell H10's in it and pandapodium replied same day, asked for a video and said they would contact ltwoo. i havnt heard anything for about a week but i havnt chased them up about it either. Its kinda my fault for messing with it but they were good batteries i tried to switch to, most of the ali sellers ship without any at all and if ltwoo dont want people fucking with it they should make it a sealed unit.

i was shitting myself so i bought a replacement from 80designer store on aliexpress it wasnt cheap (£45) but it was just the holder that was faulty, i kinda expect ltwoo to offer a replacement at cost but ill have to wait and see

Is the seatpost battery not included in the pandapodium bundle, or is that just the battery holder? I was hoping to avoid the battery headache by having a battery that's already plug and play!

pandapodium ships everything boxed like this and the batteries are preinstalled o had just already bought some 1000 mah batteries

Greetings from Germany! I have the following problem with the Ltwoo er9 groupset. I unpacked the package, connected everything, and it worked fine. But after installing it on the frame and trying to test it again, it didn’t work. The derailleur only works when the USB-C port is connected for charging. I tested the batteries, and both show 3.9 volts and are fine. However, the derailleur only functions with the USB-C connected and shuts down immediately when disconnected. Has anyone else experienced this issue and found a solution? I have already contacted Ltwoo via AliExpress, and they said they would talk to their engineers, but I am still waiting for a response

Regarding the olives and needles, the official ltwoo store has a mix of pictures of old and new barbs. However, the product info says they are sending the new type. I'm going to order some and see.

To the guy wondering about the groupset, one thing I didn't realise is the front caliper mount has problems with many forks. I have had to buy and fit a 140mm front rotor, as only the 140 front mount fits. It's a bit annoying, it can be fixed by buying an aftermarket caliper, but I don't want two different calipers on my bike!

From a quick look last night, in US at least ER9 is barely cheaper than 105, 610$ vs 710$, not sure how you justify Ltwoo vs shimano in that case

It is close. In Ireland you can get 105 DI2 for about 1000 euro. My ltwoo erx cost me probably 800 by the time I bought a cassette, cranks and chain, and discs. But I felt as a first time bike builder I liked that you could individually index gears was a good feature. Plus I was able to buy very a light cassette, chainring and chain. So it's worked out probably a better package. We'll see about longevity.
For reference, my dad had a rear caliper failure on a Scot addict after about six months, it locked partially engaged on a ride. The shop and SRAM wouldn't do anything. He had to buy a new one. Other people's experience may be different, but just because you pay more doesn't seem to make people give you better after service in my opinion.

Plot twist, some random ltwoo hose I ordered and I thought was bh 59 standard came with the o rings. ,🤷‍♂️

It's a bit pointless buying anything at full retail on AliExpress without waiting for sales and applying coupons. Prior to US tariffs, LTwoo eR9 groupsets were selling as low as $300-350 USD during sales. Sale prices are now about $100 USD plus, so the target pricing should be around $400-450 USD. The only groupset that doesn't change much in pricing is the eRX, I'd probably just buy direct from Panda Podium for the customer/warranty service and no US tax charges.

for Di2? just looking if you paired erx with r7100 crank, rings and cassete you would still save over £200

Really surprised there's not more noise about the LTWOO ER7 groupset, with discounts I managed to get it for £278.37......

it's got a the different rear mech without the swinging link, the front mech looks very similar to the ERX and the shifters have the newer ergonomic hoods and levers - they are probably alloy levers though.

Now on to the shifters and some other subtle differences, there is a bluetooth function that does not appear on my Gen 3 ERX levers that allows the app to update the shifter firmware, also I can only get the ER7 rear mech to pair with the supplied ER7 shifters.

I tried to pair the mech with some EGR shifters and it won't find them - however I can get the new ER7 shifters to pair with the older Gen3 ERX mech

Also firmware - my ERX mech is at 1.7 and the ER7 is at 1.2 - for some reason I was thinking they'd be the same because i'd assumed the internals would be the same, clearly not.

Other changes, the rear mech has an extended cable port and a cable loop clip, and the function button seems to be in a much more convenient position.

I think someone (maybe you) should start a new ER7 / ER9 v.3 thread. This one is getting very old and is nearly impossibly long for newer buyers/users to discuss the newest generation. It's probably a good time for it since it's a new product number and also an entirely new product line (mid-tier Ltwoo electronic groupset).

That would also free up this existing thread to continue discussing the older generation of products and any issues/problems that are unique to them.
