**I'm in the USA.**

I bought a frame on Aliexpress which shipped on 12/9 and it is still "in transit" with no real tracking updates since 12/10.  No joke!  I have no idea if my frame is sitting at an airport warehouse awaiting a flight, or somewhere in the middle of an ocean on a ship. Maybe it's at port, waiting to be unloaded.  Maybe it's been run over by a forklift and is in a million pieces.  (Don't expect that kind of entry in the tracking info.)  It's even unclear per the tracking, if it's even left China at all!  In short, the situation sucks.

I paid my seller $133 for shipping - for this level of service!?!  My seller told me 20 - 30 days in transit, and I'm almost at 30 days now with no end in sight.  I wish my seller had told me 45 - 60 days.  At least I'd have a clue about when to start waiting by my mailbox.

In contrast, I bought a groupset on Ali on 11/11 sale, with free shipping, which shipped via UPS Expedited and only spent 4 days in transit.  I bought a wheelset from PeterXu and it shipped FedEx: again, four days in transit.  I had zero worries if FedEx or UPS was going to deliver.

So, if you have the ability to upgrade your shipping [for reasonable cost] DO IT.  You don't want to be in my cleats, trust me.

I'm in a pretty similar situation with my CWind GT30 that I ordered on 11/12/2024. I stopped getting shipping updates on 12/4 and just recently the shipping number has changed. I kinda still hope its going to show up but I didn't quite expect to wait this long given the estimated date was 12/12/2024. Technically I've got until 2/7/2025 until I can try to get a refund. Hopefully both of our frames show up soon!

Wanted to update my situation.  I contacted Aliexpress customer service today to ask if I could wait another week for my frameset without losing my buyer's protection.

They said that my buyers protection technically expired on Jan 6, and that my request for refund would be approved in the next 48 hours.  I asked if I could cancel my request and re-file in XX days if my frameset still hadn't made progress.  They said yes, but strongly encouraged me to let the dispute settle now (and get my refund) with the inference being if 60 days go by and still don't have my frame, they aren't going to refund me.

I have very mixed emotions about this - shouldn't *I* get to choose how long I'm willing to wait, without giving up my buyers protection???  After all, it seems like AliX shipping is the problem here, not the seller.  OTOH, maybe the AliX people know something I don't - like the frame never actually shipped, or was destroyed or lost, and they just don't want to admit that.

I don't know if I'd ever buy a frame on AliX again.  It's not worth the pain/risk.  Aliexpress doesn't take responsibility for their own actions/in-actions, but instead leaves their own sellers holding the bag.

Again, I think it's important to say that I'm in the U.S.  Shipping large, expensive items to countries nearer to China might be more successful.  Maybe that even includes Europe, but apparently not the USA.

When it comes to framesets and wheelsets, I always allot at least a month for delivery to the US. It's best to forget that you ordered it and be pleasantly surprised when it arrives! Plus if purchased through AliExpress you'll at least have some buyer protection if you need to file a dispute. I've purchased two framesets within the last two months and both have arrived in perfect condition (one with China Parcel via USPS and the other FedEx). I wouldn't worry too much, you also bought during the peak holiday season so that probably slowed shipping as well.

Regarding your frame that shipped via China Post & USPS, what did the tracking history look like?  Were there large gaps between entries?  What was the total days in transit?  Thank you!

The China Post frame just initially had one update showing it shipped and was being processed in Shanghai. It then just froze for awhile until I had a USPS update that it arrived at customs in New York (I'm in California). It took about another week to travel cross-country. Total it was it was about 5 weeks of shipping time. Also if it's shipped via China Post and will deliver through USPS in the US, I'd recommend you get text/email alerts for the tracking number through the USPS website. My local post office is very good at delivering to my neighborhood, but depending on your PO service can be hit-or-miss.

I am not sure if others have seen this same change.  Starting about a month ago,  Aliexpress no longer displays shipping updates for me after the package leaves customs and Aliexpress only states "Your package arrived at local Facility."   Now, I see a USPS tracking number posted.  When I put the number into USPS tracking,  USPS posts only one detail for the package's location, plus an estimated arrival date.  It reads "In transit", and a "Distribution Center" location that is usually 3-4 days old.

Appears that details are lacking on both sides.   If appears to me that Aliexpress has changed the estimated delivery time from 12 days to 15 for most of my packages.  (I was getting a lot of $1 off late delivery coupons.)

On the China side of things, it takes usually 3 days to get my Items into customs.  It is the USA side it is now a super slow 12 to 15 days.   Sure seems to me that China kicks USA's butt regarding delivery time and efficiency, and USPS is really slow these days.  (Last year for about a month I was receiving packages in about 8 days, now it is back up to 12+ days.  )

I have another missing Item purchased through Aliexpress>  Except this purchase ($300+) was a "Ships from USA"   The store has marked the item delivered, and stated that Fed-Ex delivered the package.   The tracking number provided to me shows the package delivered with a picture that is not my porch.  I tried to put in my address in the Fedex missing package from so I could to make a complaint that I have no received the package.  It wont accept my address for the tracking number I have.
- Fedex states that that tracking number went to the correct address and is not my item.
- The Aliexpress store states that they are waiting on a response from the "logistic Carrier"  This has been going on for 2 weeks now.  If the item supposedly shipped from the USA, the store should have had feedback very quickly from the warehouse that supposedly shipped the item.

It is getting close to filing for a refund.   I think the store is trying to rip me off!

For my last order (on desktop) if I hover curser over the tracking button I get a different tracking number that actually shows the step by step USPS progress. I couldn't find a way to see that through the app.

I think they use DHL or some other service to get the package to a regional USPS center closer to you before USPS takes over and does the "last mile" or something like that. I see the same thing on my end. Some orders seem to get hung up on that stage for me for quite a while. Once USPS gets their hands on it, though, it seems to go pretty quick. There's one particular USPS regional facility that always screws up my packages (not just Ali, but other mail I track has issues there, also), but anything not going through that particular center seems to be great. In fact, USPS is among the faster more reliable shippers, IMO. UPS is pretty good. FedEx sucks donkey balls.

For all my small packages that aren't wheels or frames, the majority of my packages arrive by private courier. Basically a guy in a Prius. Packages usually arrive in the morning, on any day including holidays! I think I even received a package on Christmas! ;D
