Lightcarbon: New LCR017-D (or Yishun R1058-D)

Anayone here in Germany or in the EU who wants to build a Roadbike with the Lightcarbon frame?

I´m selling my frame - brand new and has never been build up. - I´m just only riding my Gravel bike and MTB.

I inspected the frame with an endoscopic camera - everything ist pretty perfect.

Shipping within the EU is no problem at all.

I'm really enjoying mine.

The only slight issue I am having is that it only ships with a 350mm seatpost. I am on the 56, as per all my other bikes, however I'm at the minimum insertion line and could do with a few for mm.
Wendy at LC has advised that they don't do a 400mm seatpost.

Options would be:
1. See if I can find another seatpost that fits.
2. Find a saddle with a slightly higher profile?

Does anyone have any clues on either of these options?

I am currently on the Ryet ultimate 3d printed saddle which I don't love, so that seems the obvious choice to change

100% yes. It's a frame that ticks a lot of cases. Some have mentioned the diagonal frame width. I don't find that a disadvantage because this frame is faster than my other two narrower frames, and that width is at the bottom bracket.

I didnt get any info on the possible 400mm...but thats exciting they are talking about it. Luckily for me it seems the size 58 would have enough seatpost insertion to be safe for my saddle height...according to my rough calculations lol

Hi, they can offer you straight cut seatposts.Personally, this allowed me to have 10 centimeters of seat post inserted into the frame. .

I've got a frame on order and I'm trying to decide between Di2 and mechanical for the build. For those of you who've used mechanical on this frame how was it? It'd be quite nice to use the money saved over Di2 for a power meter but not if the shifting is sub optimal.

I have mechanical 105 on mine.
Works fine. It's just tricky to pass the 4 cables on the integrated hb

Did anyone manage to put the two rubbers around the di2 battery and slide it in the seat tube?

Or should you just use only one and let the other side of the battery sit against the seat tube?

I put the two rubbers on and tightened it with a " colson ". Most of the rubber fits into the seat tube.

My Alcavi V1 which I believe is a LC frame but it’s supposed to be a Toray1000. Quality seems to be on point. 4 rides and no issues thus far.

Hi all,

After all of the reviews and taking a look at it, I pulled the trigger and ordered a size 54 LCR017-D (I am 5'10", and shoulders are exactly 40cm). Jim from LightCarbon was really helpful. I ordered it with a 100*90mm fork but since it's out of stock I have to wait 7-10 days, which is fine. I chose to do UD Matte finish and no logos. Will update everyone once I receive it.
