BTW is there anyone here who is 176cm and chose the size 54 frame? I am trying to decide if I'll choose 52 or 54.

I'm only 165cm but with very short legs and a long torso, the 52 with 0 offset seat post and 100mm stem is perfect

Published sizing vs what was on site was really different. I am still thinking on what size to buy lol. Asked ChatGPT and said 520 is the right size for me but further research shows that size 540 is right. I still believe that size 540 is what is right for me but LC site says that right size for me is 520 lol. This is so confusing. If I didn't make up my mind I would go for Speeder R55D

Last time I checked, AI infers, it doesn't reason. I would be very careful with sizing recommendations by an inference model, I don't really expect it to work.

And yes, sizing is confusing and it does take time and effort, dedicated websites are crucial like geometry bike geek to help make the right decision. I've ridden bikes that were the wrong size for years because I wasn't doing the math.

You're 100% right. Speeder's R55D might be the perfect one for me, but it's a little pricier than LCR017D that's why I am still researching about the sizing of this frame. I would've chosen size 540 but I am currently on a size 540 bike and it's hard to get comfortable, that's why size 52 is also one of my choices, then I think about that 1.33 stack to reach ratio which makes me think twice on buying this bike. I am still researching a lot about geometries of different bike and I am still learning.

Just sharing my experience with the bike. I initiated my conversation with Wendy on WhatsApp on the 18th of March. Was unsure of which chameleon paint to pick. She sent a lot of different photos of paints. Went with the LCB-02HS - same as another kind poster on here. Thanks for helping me decide!

Finalized & paid on the 19th of March. Received the frame on the 7th of May. Well packaged and nothing to fault.

I've done 2000 km on it now and done a 200k ride once. It rides really well.

However, I did manage to somehow break the seatpost clamp mechanism. The "plate" that holds it against the frame dislodged after disassembly. I'm unsure if it was due to user error or not.
I asked to buy 2 new ones on a Thursday & for it to be shipped through express shipping. They covered half the shipping & I had it in hand the following Monday.
I notice that the torque spec is lower on their website in comparison to the sheet of paper with torque specs that was included with the frame.

Regardless of this minor hiccup, I'm really happy with both the frame as well as the bike as a whole. It's built up with Ultegra Di2 & the Magene PES P505 power meter. It's a joy to ride. Would buy again

I get an odd creak but it's been surprisingly solid so far and I'm in excess of 100kg.

Received mine a few days ago and noticed a few blemishes. Are these of any concern? I haven’t had a chance to go to town with the endoscope yet, but these are mainly located near the head tube, seat tube, and BB.

From the outside, it looks pristine. The first photo is taken from the non drive side. It isn't obvious. The second photo is the drive side. Here, it's obvious. The third photo is the from the external perspective.

UPDATE:

I spoke to Jim of LightCarbon about this and he reassured me that this is resin overflow which is a surface defect and not a crack. He kindly explained that there is resin overflow when the mold is taken out, and that the innermost layer of carbon fiber is for fixing and has no strength support requirements. Finally, Jim also assured me that this will not affect the strength of the frame.

My seatpost keeps creaking too, especially when I put some power into the pedals. I’ve already tried good grease and even changed the saddle, but it’s still there. Running out of ideas at this point.. not a total nightmare, but a bit annoying.

Mine seems to have quietened down generally but I still get an odd creak on really rough roads. Plenty of carbon assembly paste on both the seat post and seat clamp seems to have helped along with losing weight.

Have you tried any other saddle? The issue may be with the rails.
I had the same issue which was brought to LCR's attention and solved with a new seatpost.
