Has anyone else had some problems with aligning a Wheeltop EDS TX's front derailleur with the braze on? It seems as if no matter what I do, even adjusting the small screw behind the FD, it can never be parallel with the frame

Me too.
Torquening to 6Nm I found a good compromise, keeping it parallel while tightening the screw.
I put a protecting soft sticker between FD and frame, because FD touches the frame.
No issues after some months, only a bit of ratling with 50/34-30-27

Thanks, I might try that. Have you had experience with other groupsets that have the same problem? Or is it just Wheeltop? How about the FDs of Shimano, Sram, etc?

I've tryed only Wheeltop. Being quite chunky it touches the frame. Maybe I've read something similar about SRAM FD too.

Ok, thanks. I may try to set it up on my second bike. If it still doesn't get aligned on that bike  without dropping the chain, then I may put up the Wheeltop groupset for sale on the second hand market

That was exactly my point. I do not expect that either.  However, when I asked the same question to LightCarbon representative they sent me a size chart table that claim that 56 size frame support riders up to 193cm which I dissregarded as correct.

LightCarbon representative also told me to measure my stem lenght (which is 87cm) and compare it with bike standover height which for 83.13cm for 58 size frame. Bike standover height should be 2-3cm shorter than rider's stem lenght which in my case is 4cm shorter. Hence my question if anyone of my size or even taller ride 58 size frame ?

I really like this frame but it sounds that there is no chinese frame that support my height. The similar problem I have with tantan X68 frame. Thier 58 size has even smaller bike standover height.

Can you please share the size chart. I`m unsure if a 54 or 56 will do the job better. (178, 83cm)

I am 180 and settled for 54 with a 80 (shortest possible stem). In no way the bike feels too small. 56 at 178 cm is most likely too large.

I'm 178cm and riding a 56cm with 90mm stem and 420mm bars. I had to chop the seat post down by 10cm and have a very long torso and arms for my height though. It's actually slightly shorter in overall length than my previous 52cm Ribble but the position overall is very similar.

Hi guys, firstly thank you all for convincing me LCR17 is the frame for me (also props to Hambini)
I finally assembled my night rider

Frame: LCR017D - size 56 (i am 182cm)
Wheels: Elitewheels ENT 2.0 50mm
Groupset: Shimano 105 mechanical 12speed (just upgraded rotors to Ultregra ones)
Seatpost: Ryet 3D printed
Pedals: Oniri PD-06
Tyres: GP5000 32mm AS TR

Full build was around 1600 EUR (some import tax for grupset to Slovenia), and bike weight with pedals is 8.3kg (to be honest i expected a bit less, but i am guessing i ENT wheels are not among the lightest?) Anyhow very happy with the bike

What's your height? I am 175cm and I am thinking of getting size 54 but geometry chart says that I fit size 52 so I am really confused atm.

I’m 175 and highly recommend u take size 52!!

Their gravel frame which I have is also on the « large » spectrum, chose 52 and it is a BIG 52 if you know what I mean.
Check my pictures on Strava of me on the bike to see how it looks and how I look on it. It is a GREAT bike, super racy position / geo I’d say

Finally, some common sense! I don't understand the logic behind people with long torso opting for a bigger bike (i.e. longer seat tube resulting in a higher seating position) and short stem. Wouldn't be more logical to go with a smaller size frame and longer stem instead in such cases?

I don't even have long torso. I am considered long legged as I have an inseam of 85.2cm that's why I am considering size 54 on this frame.
