new eGR already has firmware updated to accept 13speed

The new gen with the integrated battery or the older version got the firmware update? I'm waiting on the new egr generation to release so if you have a spot to buy it, help a brother out lol

so a couple of hitches, smaller cassettes and no clutch...

if like me you use 40/42t cassettes it'll probably work OK (limit says 40T) and if the weight claims are right at 311g for the mech it's very light for a (mtb/gravel) derailleur, never mind an electronic one.

clutch may be an issue, or may not if you don't mind a bit of chain slap as I think chain ring retention is pretty much sorted now.

There's a flatbar eGR with 50t capacity that I think could be used on mtb. Haven't seen anything mtb specific yet though.

on the face of it, it looks like what's been promised for the eTX. it seems to be a bit of a drip feed, but the price is decent enough.

The eTX was on display at the LTWOO booth during this year's Shanghai Bike Show. The display bore the label "二代升级" (Second-Generation Upgrade), indicating it is a second-generation model. Unlike the eRX, it is highly likely that LTWOO has been making repeated in-house improvements to the eTX.
