Author Topic: Are there any current aero frames with high seat stays / upright top tube?  (Read 707 times)

I'm starting to find I much prefer my stiffer SPcycle aero frame with high seat stays and more upright top tube geometry. The bike is not very compliant, but I feel like I can really drop the hammer when I accelerate and lean hard into the downhill corners practically scrapping my pedals. Even though it weighs more, it climbs better than my TFSA SL7-style frameset. Unfortunately my SPcycle frame has been discontinued and I now wish I bought 2 frames since it was being sold at deep discount. Also I just visually prefer higher seat stays, even though the low seat stays and higher seat post of my TFSA frame absorbs road bumps better.

Are there any framesets that are available that might have similar geometry? I've added a photo of my current bike as reference. Thanks!

Just brainstorming:

I like the visual looks of the Velobuild VB-R-066, but it appears to be more of a climbing bike, so it might not have the stiffness I want.

Might be Wildly different due to layup but I rode a Canyon Endurace CF SL 8 and it was a very good all-arounder/pretty stiff/also light and it looks identical to the 066.
