My R088 is almost ready - took it out for a short test ride and it feels amazing

Ultegra 8170 11-34t with 56/32 passquest chainring (Ultegra 160/140 rotors)
Ryet 3d printed carbon saddle
Lexon thin line integrated handlebar
Carbon speed D60CU-31 T1100 rims with 5.0mm carbon spokes
Pirelli p-zero tlr rs 32c tyres

Still need to sort out some headset play, bleed the brakes,  index gears properly and add handlebar tape, cages and install computer mount (and install rubber grommets in the di2 wire holes). Hopefully get this all done tonight to test ride to work tomorrow then make any final adjustments for a long first ride Saturday

Build was fairly smooth (was aware of the battery issue seat tube issue so was prepared with a long file) - routing cables was no problem. Tubeless set up was a lot easier than I was anticipating! (Buying a proper sealer injector so much easier than trying to mount the tyres after pouring in sealant)

Photo is quite dark so as it was late when i took it out so doesn’t do justice to the paint colour - my partner has taken absolutely zero interest in any of the conversations i have tried to have with her about the build, but when she saw the paintwork in the sunshine she was all “ooooh it’s an amazing colour, so sparky!”

Will get some better photos in the sunlight this weekend

Nice build! I guess both Di2 and ER9/X users have similar seat tube battery issues, but with different solutions. I've never done the sealant before mounting the tire method. I just use a cheap 30ml squeeze bottle to get the sealant inside the rim & tire after beading. It's less messy that way!

Color does look great! No wonder my wife doesn't pay attention to me or my bikes. They're not sparkly enough!

Today I finally received the frame. Almost two months. The point job was really good.

The seller did not include spacers for the headset and rubber gaskets for the holes for the  wire housings. Is this correct?

And does anyone know the torque spec for the udh?

Congrats! Did you get the frameset only? If yes, no rubber gaskets were provided and no spacers for headset. More importantly, did you get a flat or concave rear thru axle hole on the non-drive side? That will determine if you need multiple thru axle washers or not.

Both rear thru axle holes are concave on the non-drive side. Thru axle in front was installed with a concave washer. Thru axle in the back was installed with a concave washer and a flat washer. There was also an extra concave washer in a plastic bag. I am not sure if I am supposed to use this or not!?

If you plan on running electronic, they're not really needed. If you run mechanical, you'll have to run full cable housing, so also not really necessary. I did use one grommet for the RD hole though, but that was just to hold my eR9 battery cable in-place.

Front thru axle should be fine. Rear thru axle might have play when the rear wheel is mounted. You might need the extra washers to keep the rear wheel tight.
