I've just taken a look inside my Fauxstro frame* with a torch - unfortunately I don't have an endoscope thing to take any pictures.

However, it's evidently quite a lot neater inside than @insanetrees. None of the fraying round the bolt inserts in the BB shell.

Perhaps most interestingly is that the seat tube is internally capped above the wheel cut out. So in this frame, there would be no way for the seatpost to impact the wheel cut out (unless I landed on it with such force it punched through the cap).

I paid for the frame in August, received it mid September 2025. I am waiting for the next reply by AE and then will file a chargeback with all the evidence on PayPal.

Keep in mind, at PayPal you can only start a claim till 180days after paying!

UPDATE 4: broken RK Ultra Frame

I just received a notification from AliExpress regarding my case. Interestingly, they updated the ticket stating: 'We learned that the chargeback result favors you'.

It seems that after I escalated the case to PayPal and submitted my engineering report, the pressure worked. AliExpress has officially acknowledged that the outcome is trending in my favor.

I’m still waiting for the final notification from PayPal to see the money back in my account, but it looks like a 100% win. I’ll let you know as soon as the case is officially closed!

One friend bought a second hand proteam OSTRO V2. Legit frame.
He got an accident and fork is broken. They are asking him for 1.200€ just for the raw fork.
Do you know if a Replica fork will work on  a legit frame? Recomendation for a seller?

On my end, I'm letting you know about a problem I've encountered (it's not immediately obvious, but you can check it out). The issue is with the insert that holds the rear axle (the threaded side) (I'll post a picture). The screw that secures the insert to the frame is too short, and even with threadlocker, it won't hold. So I replaced it with a longer one (0.5cm longer, making it about 1.5cm). Be careful, it really needs to be a screw with a conical head, because if the head protrudes, there's a good chance it will rub against the cassette's locking nut.

After building up my replica V2 coming from a legitimate V1, I can tell you that the fork may fit, but you should get the bearings for the fork as well from the seller. Trying to transfer over my SLT bearings from my V1 was not fruitful. The tolerances are off and the bearings are minutely different, even though the V1 and V2 are normally supposed to have the same bearings. Had to use a shim so that the headset cap wouldn't grind on the headtube, and had to use a different bearing in the bottom for the fork to not rub on the bottom of the headtube.

Ive got a 58cm eps frame. Ive not fully built it yet but im concerned mines too flexy.

When I squeezed it with my hands, it also sank.
