I have made a few enquiries and bladder mold has been confirmed.

Colonel's supplier (Taiwan Glory Bike Store Store) looks to be of better quality than taiwan factory bike parts Store.  The bottom bracket and head tube look much better quality.

I have now confirmed that Colonel's supplier (Taiwan Glory Bike Store Store) is the latest 2025 V2 EPS molding hence the better quality.

For anyone keeping up with this thread, avoid taiwan factory bike parts Store as they could not guarantee the quality and would not confirm 100% refund it not happy.

I've purchased it on Aliexpress (store: taiwan factory bike parts Store - model New Model Fasterway Ostro) and I could choose between any factor color scheme (painted or the stickers are under the paint), I doubted the one without any paint or just the clear paint that you could see the carbon layers. I know a lot of people here don't like replicas or placing a brand name on a copied frame, but in the end, I still did it, because I liked it (sorry).

I had to look back which seller I actually had, because I forgot it and have since I build the bike now around 5300 km done, and still going strong.

I think it's quite an aggressive claim to be honest, but I do believe before you make a purchase it's good to do your own research. If I had a chance to do it again, I would probably also take another seller that is known for a nicer and smoother internal build, however I want to make a point that it is not exploding or cracking or what so ever. I'm riding it, 3 to 4 times a week and it's holding firmly, steady, solid, it's fast, etc., even with all the "fake" stuff that is not done here on the forum.

So I'm still happy with my Taiwan Factory Bike Parts Store replica factor frame, that everyone should avoid!

Photos of my frame which will be sent as soon as 380x110 handlebar is available again from F-C Carbon. Also I can confirm that F-C Carbon and RK Ultra Extreme are the same supplier.

Yes, it can be customized. I chose this white on white based on a prisma paint option from Factor’s website.

Also the same supplier for Polar.

Funny, the lack of quality control seen with some of these suppliers seems consistent with the real manufacturer. I'm looking to build an Ostro, so I joined the Facebook group. I saw a few complaints about bottom brackets and seat post issues within seconds. Interesting that it's the same across the board. I will be building a replica nonetheless for obvious affordability reasons.

Just thought I’d add my 2 cents to this group, as I finally received my frameset at the weekend. I ordered from Polar bicycle store on AliExpress a few months ago. However the frameset took a little longer than others,as I ordered the raw finish with the hologram logo which seems to be more difficult to manufacture and this seller was the first to have it on the market. Honestly I was a PITA customer asking loads of questions and being really picky about every detail, he answered all my questions thoroughly and promptly and never complained.

For a size medium/54cm frame weight was 898g, front fork uncut was 410g, 0mm offset seatpost was 125g and a Darimo nexum drag replica in 380x100mm was 284g.

The quality was outstanding and just as good as any western brand, perhaps even better. The facing on the BB shell meant there was no paint and the threads were super smooth. The handlebar and seatpost were a super tight fit with no play and the mounts for the calipers were also really well faced and the calipers were perfectly parallel with the rotors when I built it up.

Anyway here’s some pictures of the final build, came in at 6.7kg without bar tape.

Can you share the link from the seller, because I just found the Vam 1.0, your is the 2.0, right?

Yes mine is V2. They don’t have a specific listing for the ostro v2, if you send them a message they will tell you to order the sl8 frameset and just leave in the notes your spec/size/colour for the ostro VAM, they’re all the same price. His number is +852 6206 7086 if you want to WhatsApp him to discuss your spec and any questions in advance.

That frame looks incredibly tasty. Can I ask what price you paid for frameset+handlebar?

It was £864/$1165 delivered to uk including prepaid duty and taxes. The genuine Darimo seatpost was almost half the price of the replica frameset 😂
