Which shop/link did you order from?! I only ever had ominous shops disappear on me that were selling obvious fakes. But never a big seller.

But no, these metrics don't matter a lot. Neither of them is something you will be looking at WHILE you are riding. And even after the ride, I have never checked pedal smoothness. L/R balance is nice to have but not super crucial. Except if you are very one-sided on your power. That might be an indicator that something else is amiss (bodily imbalance, leg length discrepancy, ill bike fit).
Slow on the climb. And everywhere else.

I bought from this store: Shop1104720516 Its closed now but have contacted the shop that opened a few days ago that selles these powermeters and the seller has the same avatar so its probably the all the same. So I just asked him why does magene want additional 80$ for this and he told me that he will unlock it after I make my purchase. Told him I purchased in his old store and sent him the serial number and it was opened the next minute.

No complaining...

This is the new store, 2 days old: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1104679403

Hi,
Is anyone running the 24mm Shimano spindle version on a 1x Sram XPLR set up? Also, what does this mean "Magene provides exclusive QED lightweight split chainring for product combination" . I find the whole BB situation and fittings utterly confusing!
Thanks

Well... so I have or rather wanted to test the newly installed power meter and I do not get any readings to my bike computer...

The Magene app says its connected, the Onelap app says its connected, the Magene c406pro says its connected but while riding power and cadence show zero "0".

Did I miss some settings or what to do to get the power readings?

Yes...I run a tiny spacer, but that is mainly to give a bit more clearance for my 46T chainring.

doesn't the alugear chainring you're running have a 3mm inward offest though? If it ere straight you could run a bigger chainring without the spacer

Since my original question asking about these "cheap" P505s from polish sellers and the realization in this thread (and other places) that they are actually shipping from China and might be shipping the Chinese version I just ordered off Magene Official with the Sunshine Savings. Solid price. Also took 170mm cranks instead of 175 that I currently use. I don't have any problems at all with 175mm but I guess even I am affected by the hype.

Now it's just a matter of waiting. I'm sure I'll be back in the thread asking about various problems I encounter :P

My problem for ordering from the magene store is the added taxes to Italy. The "shipped from poland" store would prevent this also considering the fact that it's 50EU cheaper. Ordering right now it would be 220EU which is cheap af and it should be without any taxes. I wouldn't mind loosing smoothness or L/R since this is my third PES but I wouldn't want to pay any additional stuff. Where did you find they were being shipped from China?

I had ordered it from a polish reseller and it did not ship from China and there was also no additional taxes. The seller also unlocked the P&B smoothness.

A bunch of these polish sellers popped up with good prices, I don’t know which is which but I read in a Aliexpress-review that it was shipped from China.

Last season I switched from 175 to 170 and it's a night and day difference. Was shocked how much 5mm can change. No more tight hips and pain, better cadence, smoother ride

I mean I’m certainly hoping for some magic realization. More power and better comfort or something.
