Did anyone manage to use the new eGR yet? im really concerned about battery life on them as they advertise 4500mAh but on the battery they state only 400mAh and considering that the old gen had 1600mAh total in the battery pack im really concerned about total range since the capacity is only 25% of what we had before.

I also messages Ltwoo customer service and they stated that there is currently no schedule for updating the old generations with newer functions that is 13 speed and ability to swap button functions on shifters. But I should await further official announcements from LTWOO about this topic.

Are early deraileur cages compatible with this? I would like to use my shimano 10-51 cassette.
There is no gap in paddle lever on oficial website. It might be some early prerelease units. To be fair i would prefer paddles on both left and right banda.

My new unit has the gap for the shifters in in on the left shifter.

Right now on my new unit lost about 5% with 3ish hrs. So prob not the best battery life but with the type c charging I'm not to concerned.

According to specs its wireless, what they are selling now on aliexpress seems like an enginering build that will be replaced by a more polished and finished product like they have done with older groupsets.

I could see that but for now, my unit has the cutout, but I am not running that side regardless in case I want to use my er7.

Greetings all!
I am having problems with binding and pairing the rear derailleur and shifter on a new EGR V. 3 installation. I cannot get the shifter to change gear up or down after supposedly pairing.

Connection to the app registers the rear derailleur and informs me it has the latest firmware. Attempts to 'see' the controller for firmware update fail.

In the pairing, hold shifter button for four seconds and immediately press the rear derailleur button there is communication. A motor sound and a mechanical 'nudge' result. There is no shift resulting from clicking the shifter paddles. Green light shows in the shifter with each click.

The rear derailleur will shift and and down via the app. In the app I have set to 10 speed. As yet I have no rear wheel, cassette, chain on the bike. Ninth and tenth gear which would be smallest two cogs mech motor is whirring and clicks but makes the shifts. I have written to my seller, no reply just yet but still very early to expect one.

Any thoughts and suggestions from the community?

Success! I think I hope. For the benefit of other readers who may also come across this problem I will share my experience. Looking for any glimmer of help online I benefited from Google Ai on my Android smartphone. Having trawled through lots of entries from Facebook comments and forum replies it was the addition of the 'if you tell me this.....' additional bits of info that got me there.

So what worked? The Ai suggested deleting the rear mech from the app. Then to delete to cache of the app. (I in turn deleted the storage) It then said delete the app and reinstall. Connect the app to the derailleur and then try to pair with the shifter (controller) My first attempts at pairing failed. It was the adamant statement inferring you must be doing something wrong when pairing that did the trick.  I tried again. Finger on the button on the mech I pressed the shifter button for the four seconds, light on, immediate quick brief click on the mech button. It worked!

I also believe I have solved the clicking on gears nine and ten (10 speed) I think it will resolve when setting high and low screws to match the cassette when the wheel is installed. I will let you know as I progress the build later on.

I've got the new ltwoo installed on my bxt 135, but haven't had a chance to go out for a ride yet. Paired up with no issues for me. Will fine tune it later today and hopefully get out to ride this weekend.

Took the bike out for a more muddy/wet ride. happy to report that the weatherproofing held up well and shifting worked flawlessly under load and grime.

Finally took the new groupset out for a ride. Could just be me, but shifting feels a tiny bit slower than V1 eGR. Other than that, it works great.
Battery went down about 5% on an hour and a half ride.

Anyway you can film the shifting speed? This is something I noticed with the Wheeltop GeX groupset. It's a bit slower and less responsive than the v1 eGR. The eGR performs much closer to my friend's 12 speed Di2 GRX setup.
