separate bar and stem combination

With full integration or you use this frame cap with holes?

I just ordered a frame a week ago. So not left factory yet. Did they not send you a photo of frame after painting and before dispatch? I've been emailing Jessi and she (I'm actually not sure of gender, I'm presuming she) said she would send photos after spray job, I'm hoping I can confirm mounting points at that stage before dispatch.

No, one day I asked for an update on my order and she just said that it shipped and sent me tracking. I opted for the default matte black paint job so I’m guessing that played some role, maybe they had a few sitting around. I’m disappointed they won’t even offer a discount

Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for. Just wanted others to know apparently this is something that needs to be confirmed. At this point I’m not sure how to figure out what does and doesn’t need to be confirmed if even things that don’t seem like options are actually options

It’s semi integrated for now. I’m test out different stem length to see what I like. I ride with a 80mm stem first but it made the bike feel too small. I put a 100mm and did around 45 miles and it felt much better.  I have some numbness in my left fingers, so now I have to figure out my hood position on the left side.

I installed a new Bigrock skyline handlebar yesterday together with a seatpost without setback to reduce the frame stretch. Also used the new solid oil headset bearings.

This bike is pretty fast. Took it on a 75 mile gravel ride today. It did really well in the sand pit areas with the 50mm tires on it. 5 stars for this bike

Do you really need a chain guard with wheeltop gex? I'm also thinking about this specific model of chain guard.

Not with the chain ring that I’m running. But I just like having one just Incase. The clutch keeps the chain pretty stable but I’m a creative of habit

Does anyone have a bar/cockpit on there for aero bars? I kinda want them for longer rides. Something like this : https://blackinc.cc/en-de/products/integrated-aero-barstem-with-extensions , you can take the exentions off and ride like a normal bar. But then ofcourse for cheaper! :) Prefer with integrated cockpit!

A few updates for this season:

- Switched to Wheeltop GEX which support the 50T cassette better - also 13 speed (new cassette, 11-50)
-Voicevelo VFV Deep-V seatpost
- clikvalves
- Tufo Thundero HD 48mm tyres

May I ask you what's the name of your top tube bag?

I did find something similar on AliExpress but the only mounting option was with glue, no bolt-on (which I'd prefer)

It's actually Tideace branded, but I think there are loads out there.

Just 13 working days after placing the order and the frame is already painted!
