Drill 2 more holes in the grommet for the other cables. Or use some black Sugru?

I'm bored, waiting for my frame to arrive, so I've listed out all the parts that are going to make 'the build' - Everything except frame/fork/bars and the rims is currently have sat in a box waiting to be fitted when the rest gets here.

Hi all,

Been lurking, this is my first post.

Ordered a TanTan GR201 about 6 weeks ago, been waiting for them to finish the paint work. I'm told the paint shop has been very busy but I expect them to send me the completed pictures soon so I can share.

Just a question on cranks. I was thinking of getting the P505 or P515 with a 46T chainring. Can someone with that setup please let me know what the chainline is and also if I need to fit any spacers to make that work.

Hi! To make the chainline approximately match the Sram Wide (47.5mm), I used a chainring with a 3mm offset on the P505 spider.

Sweet - I acknowledge I have missed off things like thru axles, headset, expander etc so they will add a little BUT I will be cutting the fork, chain, hoses etc so all in I'm hoping for 8.5kg???

No bottle cages either - its already too heavy so I'm not gonna drink 

I guess the race is on for when they arrive? Mine was ordered 11/8

Ordered aug 6th for me. Posted on aug 29th. have tracking number but no "movement" on it really yet. was half hoping to have it by the weekend but I doubt it.

Wheels posted on 1st sept, but have some which would do if i got the frame up and running before they arrive

Mine isn't even close to painting yet so I guess I shall just weigh the components again & see if I can find some lighter tyres.

my chain arrived this morning, so i can "start" my build by stripping all the gunky shitty factory grease off it and waxing it. That way I can claim I'm "making progress"

Thanks for this info, do you have a link to the chainring you used?

Also I see some people say the P505 is not compatible with the T47 BB, did you run into any problems or know why they claim this?

Okay, so I just received a picture of my bike completed paint job, ready to be packed for shipping.

I was concerned about the size but they have just sent me a picture of the measurements and its all good

This might help a bit - mine is a 54. overlaid yours as best I can using the BB as the anchor point. Given the bb is 47mm, it does look like there's closer to a full BB (~5cm) than a half BB (~2cm) difference between the two top tubes, so you could well be right.
