Received the cranks today. All is very well packaged, finish is great, have enough spacers and accessories to (probably) accommodate any frame. Smooth surface of the titanium axle is 92mm which is pretty much in line with my Hollowtech axle (~93 mm). The bolt that fix the axle to the crank feels dangerously light. Considering the issues mentioned in the thread I will ask my milling guy to made a proper steel bolt prior to installation. Will write back again to report how it rides and feels.

They don’t come with a manual, according to the seller, but I think I’ll just follow the same steps as with the Cybrei. Have you already installed them and been able to test them? As for the bolt that holds the axle, I don’t know anyone who can make one for me — do you know where I could buy one and what it’s called, preferably a high-quality one?

The Lexon crankset that I ordered and returned from "RYET Official Store" on Aliexpress came with no specific spacers for the spider.
Two washers for mounting the pedals and three spacers (0.5mm, 1mm and 1.5mm) for adjusting gaps and chainline.
Since the gap was 5mm in my case, and the crank had +2mm more on effective axle length and q-factor, I returned the crankset (I was not offered a deal on partial refund from the seller).

Meanwhile I purchased and received the Rockbros crank with 24mm spindle.
93mm effective axle length and 151mm q factor as specified, axle color is raw titanium (vs. black color of the Lexon crank).

From what I can tell these seem to be good quality and spindle isn't out of spec like some have reported to be the  case with other brands 24mm cranksets. I measured the q-factor to be ~146mm wich is ~1mm wider than advertised but it's still narrower than most cranksets offer.

146mm q factor is 2mm less than Shimano and approx. 5mm below most chiner carbon crankset specifications?

I just installed my BigRock cranksets yesterday. Thought I bought 165mm...accidentally bought 160mm oh well haha, I've had 165mm on a TT bike and loved it.
Will do a full review with pics tomorrow, but for now I'm very happy with them! Running Dura Ace chain rings, alignment with the spider is perfect, went together very easily and they look super slick too!

I think I found the reason for the big gap between spider and crank. It is due to the fact that the receiving end for the axle does not sit flush in the crank arm it protrudes by roughly 1 mm which equates the gap that I’m dealing with. Trying to explain that to AliExpress. But it hasn’t proven to be successful yet. I don’t think the person actually is making an effort to understand what I’m trying to explain to him or her.

I did not install them yet as I am still waiting for my groupset. You could try to find the bolt with same thread in some home repair store, such as OBI or look for a bolt with the same dimensions online. If you are in Europe I may ask my guy to make another bolt and send it to you

BTW 3-bolt spider from P2Max fits just fine - no play or gaps, same goes for BUCKLOS 3-bolt spider.

It looks like there is no issue with other mounting interfaces except Easton. Problems usually comes from the stock spider which is out of spec.

I pulled a trigger on the bigrock titanium crankset. Now I need to decide on which powermeter to get. Are those xcadeys sold by lexon good?

I just saw that! May I ask how you removed the shoulder?


The Lexon contact person gave me a Chinese telephone number so I could speak to the manager. I instead asked for my pictures and my complaint to be forwarded to them because I think the issue on the pictures is obvious to someone with technical understanding. I haven’t heard back from them.

I have access to a milling machine, so I machined the material off. I also slightly shortened the axle (1mm), as I did not like150mm true Q-factor. I reckoned I paid cheap enough not make it as I want it. I stll paid 175eur at that time, without chainrings.
