Yo yo yo, 3d printable rear bottle holder is finished! It replaces the one that comes with the frame, but elevates the bottle higher and mounts it horizontal. I suggest using a bottle mount adapter for fine tuning the fore/aft of the bottle, but it could be mounted directly. (Depending on the bottle cage, you might touch the bottle though)

It is compliant with the current ironman/world triathlon rules about the mount for the rear hydration having to fit in a 30x30cm box.

That's awesome!
All i can think of to mod it a bit is a bunch of hooks on the sides so one can carry grenades, ideally sticky a la Halo, to get rid of the competition during races. Or cars during training rides.

I actually thought about designing a hook into the fin. Not for shenanigans, but to hang it from a bike rack in a race. I've got a tall seatpost and always struggled with the bike racks being too low. But I dont trust the side to side stability of this part to hang my bike onto.

I am thinking about buying the VB-TT-023 frame, but I want to know how far the seatpost can be extended?
The description on their Homepage say, 400mm length. But is it the whole length of the seatpost or is it the length which I can extend?

The total length of the seatpost is approx 400mm. But judging from the grip-paint on the seatpost, you should keep minimum ~120mm of the seatpost in the frame. I currently have ~170mm of seatpost in the frame, so I could actually raise the seat by another ~50mm. All made up numbers btw - I didnt find any information from VB.

On the frame L, my setup gives me 83cm from saddle to bottom bracket. I'm 188cm with 92cm inseam.

If you are really tall, this frame would probably be too short before you run into seatpost issues

The 3D printable rear bottle holder is amazing, but unfortunately I’m a bit short (5ft6), so I can’t leave enough space for two bolt holes on the seatpost.

Thanks for your response. That helps me a lot. Due to the availibility of only a "L" frame, I think I'll switch to the winow TT119 frame...the geo is a bit better for me, my fitter say 🤷🏼‍♂️

This has been a great place of information. It seems like the general consensus is it's a great bike minus the stem. I am also getting a replacement stem from Chris, but found a Vision Metron Snakebite cockpit on sale and will be installing that to remedy all the stem issues.

I'll try to update once I have that installed, hoping it's an easy (just not cheap) fix for the stem issue.

Lurking hard on this frame at the moment.
One open question I have, and maybe someone knows the answer here.

I plan to use the Riderever Triva Carbon Set, with SRAM Blips.
Online I only found sellers for the version for "Shimano" or compatible with "Shimano/SRAM".
As I read through the different threads here, I came to the conclusion that there is one version for shimano, and one for sram.
Does anybody know where the SRAM version can be bought in the EU? or what the SKU is?
Or any other ideas? :-D

I think it is just a separate cover plate to hold the blips on the side, not 100% sure tho

I glued the blips to the basebar and not to the brake levers. Works wonderfully.

Okay, it's indeed a different cover plate.

Right now the Riderever Triva are the cheapest hydraulic brakes for TT bikes, but the sram blip part is impossible to find, using it glued is a downside for me.

Does anyone know anything about the iiiPro ET7 brakes pictured at the Trace Velo video of Eurobike?

Don't make it complicated. Just stick the blips on.

You can determine the position yourself and also have full grip when shifting.

Even the SRAM TT levers do not have an integrated blip.
