Race frame with UDH hanger
« on: September 14, 2024, 03:12:42 AM »
Hi all.

As my giant propel was damaged in a crash i am looking for a new frame to do road races here Denmark.

While my broken collarbone is healing. I am considering doing a build with the new 13 speed RED XPLR RD.

Although I find it hard to find an aero and light chinese frame with UDH.

The SC-R55D from speeder seems like the perfect frame, but the current lead time in sizw 58 is 50 days and that is too late for me as i need to start training again soon.

Are you lovely guys aware of any other frame like the SC-R55D with UDH?

If not I might ending up buying a T15500 2ndgen of Tavelo Arrow and skip my 13-speed dream :)

The new Longteng RD301-D frame seems to be UDH as well. Maybe not as light as the Speeder tho

Have looked on it but not enough of a racer with the bolts on the top tube, storage box and 38mm tire clearance

Agreed.

Then maybe the Winowsports WR054? Its a heavy chonker but more race-ish and aero.

You are racing in Denmark, why does it need to be light?

Well. If you can find a light option, then why not?  8)

But I know what you mean and I agree.

Is Principia still in business so you can represent?  Loved their aluminum frames in the 90s.

Yes In fact the seat post does not look good but from the bottom bracket to the front I like it a lot.
I need to order a new frame and I'm currently undecided between this one, SpcycleSP-R065 and Hygge Model S

They sure are!

As a Dane I’m a bit afraid to admit I have never tried one though..  :-X
