So I will try to have it quick, as it's off-topic  ;D My rating is 10/10, love the bike, especially during the climbing and descending. However he's doing very good on the flat roads. Having the XMCS wheels I feel they are just made for each other  ;D I will do proper comparison to the newest version of Elves Falath EXP, I wonder what is the difference on flat and windy areas, where I live.

Sounds familiar. Who makes the Avenger Frames?

I received my 60/31 wheels last week and have done two short rides so far. Upgraded from the stock Roval CL50 wheels that have done 15000km (its funny that I got almost exactly the same for the Rovals when I sold them, as I paid for these - amazing value!)

I am really happy with the wheels - they feel great and seem fast. I had a lot of crosswind on the rides, and while not a problem, I felt the front wheel being pushed about.

Has anyone from the USA ordered a set of wheels post new world tariff? Wanted to buy a set but it was too close to the de minimis cut off date. Has anyone been charged extra fees once the wheels get stateside?

Price for this set?

These aren’t my wheels, but they’re priced at $950 USD.
If you opt for the version without rim bed spoke holes, the price drops slightly to $910 USD. The extra $40 covers the reinforced spoke bed, as these wheels are more difficult to assemble without spoke holes.
Wheels with rim bed spoke holes are slightly lighter by comparison.

There’s also a 5% PayPal fee if using Goods and Services. If you'd prefer to avoid this, you can pay via Friends and Family, as I did.

Shipping to the UK is $120 USD, including taxes.
Production times are:

Without rim bed spoke holes: 20–25 working days (excluding shipping)

With rim bed spoke holes: 15–20 working days (excluding shipping)

I’m not entirely sure about shipping times to other regions, but generally:

US delivery takes around 5–10 days

UK delivery takes around 10–15 days

XMC are currently gearing up for Eurobike next week, so they’re extremely busy at the moment — this may slightly affect communication or lead times

And finally, my wheels are being shipped tomorrow!

Originally, I wanted titanium-colored hubs, but Peter is busy with Eurobike and wouldn’t have been able to send them out until afterward because the hubs needed anodizing. So, I was offered black hubs instead — no big deal since black was the original spec, but I had changed my mind.

New 18- and 18-hole hubs

UD paintless finish

CS-D50CU-31 disc brake carbon road rim: 50mm depth, 33mm wide, 24mm internal width

CS-D65CU-31 disc brake carbon road rim: 65mm depth, 33mm wide, 24mm internal width

Spoke holes on rim bed

5mm carbon spokes made from T1100 carbon

I was told the weight would be 1200 grams, but it came in just a smidge under at 1196g — beating my old CRW Gen 1s at 1280g and even the new ones at 1250g! 😄

Now comes the painful wait as I watch the parcel tracking slowly make its way from China to the UK… hopefully, it arrives quicker than expected! :(

hi sender, you who have experience with wheels, don't you think that 18 spokes per wheel are not enough to make the wheel rigid? I was thinking about wheels with 20 Peter spokes, but I'm held back by the idea that for a weight like mine, I'm well over 80kg, closer to 90kg, they are too delicate. can you give me your opinion? thanks

absolute stiffness will be fine with 18 carbon spokes, but I'd be very curious to see the balance of lateral stiffness of this spoke arrangement on the front
