Now both 50-31 and 60-31 rims have been listed onto our website:
http://www.xmcarbonspeed.com/Productinfo.asp?f=1662
http://www.xmcarbonspeed.com/Productinfo.asp?f=1661

Max rider weight limit on our T1100 wheelset is 120kg, it is just 85kg or 90kg on some other companies' light weight wheelsets.
Is the max weight limit the same for normal version of rim, as well as also for light and super light version of rim?

What would the 50-31 roughly weigh with steel spokes? Is it possible to get 1.1+++kg wheels with steel spokes?

My D60CU-31 T1100 20/20H UD matt with 5.0mm carbon spokes are built and on their way

Peter has been a pleasure to deal with and all of my incessant questions about different options

inserting a new post to try to get to page 31 since page 30 is broken
Strange

Peter posted that the XM Cranks in DUB and Ti spindle could be ordered and the Chainrings.
Said he would post Chainrings weights and prices after the Chinese Labour Day Holiday 1-5th May.

I also got spare spokes and tape/valves as well which were extra

My second set of wheels from Peter arrived yesterday. About a week and a half to arrive to Vancouver, Canada.

D45CU-28 T1100 rims 20/20H UD paintless
Black color in-house hubs 20/20H 36T rachets enduro steel bearings center lock straight pull for 100*12/142*12 with Shimano HG driver
3.8mm carbon spokes

I weighed them at 1131 grams.

I set them up and raced a crit last night on them, which had a bit of a kicker through the start/finish line. Quick on the climb, generally stiff, and confident through the corners.

I've bought the 50mm with 26mm inner, would have opted for 24mm -> sweet spot!

F me that's light! For reference, interestingly, 1200g for the "same" wheelset by Peter, but using deeper / wider (50mm deep, 33mm wide rims) (D50CU-33 T1100 rims 21/21H, steel bearings, carbon spokes, shimano freehub)

I was wondering real life weight differences of that kind of spec between rim widths and what not, now we know. Dont ask me why your hub has 20 holes and mine 21, but that means the 1200g includes 2 more spokes & nipples, so the difference isn't only in the rim. Maybe the wider rim needs more spokes. Anyhow. to go from 28 to 33mm wide rims (and 5mm more depth), it costs under 70g for a set.

You need to have older style hub, The newest one for carbon spokes is 20H.

I recieved two sets of wheels on Tuesday, the communication with Peter and the service were superb! I ordered on the 15th of April, payed on the 16th of April, the wheels were shipped on the 22nd of April and I recieved everything in Germany on the 6th of May. One box was damaged during the shipping, but the wheels seem to be fine.

The first set is 50-33 T1100 UD paintless with 20/20H titanium color 54T ratched hubs and 5 mm carbon spokes, weight ~ 1166 g, intended use is my upcomming roadbike

The second set is 50-33 T800 UD paintless with 24/24H black color hubs and Sapim CX ray spokes, weight ~ 1329 g, intended use is gravel

I already did my first 60 km test ride on the T800 wheel set today and I am very happy. I saved about 600 g compared to my Mavic Allroad Disc and the acceleration from ~ 25 km/h to > 30 km/h is awesome (this is my first carbon set). The wheels are very stiff, but yet comfortable with 32 mm Schwalbe G One allroad. Once you get used to it, the handling of cross winds is also no problem.

I find it confusing, so I'll just ask, what's the difference between Steel or ceramic bearings ? I've got that ceramic is lighter, but concerning the durability, I've read that ceramic is better somewhere, and steel is better somewhere else, where is the truth?
