Which one? Quality?

PMed you
Had to torque the single bolt to 9 Nm to prevent it from tilting with my big a**

Off subject : but this 1:1 replicas have an advantage over genuine Chinese designs : you will find spare parts from official SL8 for many years

I have https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005010110922128.html

It is slightly undersized but so far so good, done about 1k km on it. I'd prefer a two bolt option though.

Received my frameset yesterday.

Started today with my custom “wink” decals, will coat the bike for a satin shine and protection.
Hopefully i’ll have it assembled by the end of next week.

Btw: anyone used the Chaser hanger? Seems like the size of it is completely different to the hanger that comes with the frame?

Did you build it? Really curious to the end result.

Good morning, after months, I’ve finally managed to finish assembling the bike. I went for a short ride to check everything was in order, and I must say the assembly was relatively straightforward – it’s the first bike I’ve ever put together. The weight, including the temporary pedals (some old Timerxe ones), is 6.920 kg.
I’d like to ask you a favour: could you recommend a Garmin mount for the SL8? Thanks.
I bought one on AliExpress but I don’t like it very much; it hangs too low over the ground.
Thanks

p.s. Can anyone explain how to upload photos directly to the forum? Thanks

I have the possibility to build a X68 with carbon wheels and SRAM Rival D1 full groupset / for an exact total of 1990€
Is it a bargain ? Should I sell the groupset (new) for a better one ?

I'm not much of a fan of the D1 Groupsets in comparison with shimano or the SRAM E1s other than that, doesn't sound too bad

Bye Bye X68...??

This is NOT a hundred percent confirmed. Someone on facebook group said it got told that on a reply via WhatsApp and the model disappeared from their website. So...I don't know?

So, definitely pulled off their sites, but Vivian says to get in touch via WhatsApp to order it offline.
I can smell Specialized lawyers around...
