Reporting back, might need to go for the 54 or look elsewhere...

Just got a reply re: seatpost length.

"44/49/52 use 300mm seatpost
54/56/58 use 380mm seatpost"
"52cm cannot use 380mm, the frame will be damaged"
"All seatposts must be inserted at least 100mm"

My current bike has a saddle height of 698mm from the BB, and from BB to saddle rails of approx 670mm. The Ultimate has a seat tube length of 494mm, so that's approx 176mm seat tube exposed. This is also with 172.5mm cranks, which I wanted to change to 165mm.

The X68 in 52 has a 456mm seat tube. To get the same saddle height for same leg extension, I'd need the same BB to saddle dimensions - so approx 214mm seat tube exposed (670 - 456). With the change to 165mm cranks, this would increase to 221.5mm. With minimum insertion of 100mm, I'd need the 380mm seat tube, which apparently will damage the frame (hard to see how, given the 54 seat tube length is only 17mm more - maybe the seat tubes are slightly different dimension?)

I would  say something like this:
I ride in a super aero position on a 52cm frame, which means I need a high saddle.
A 300mm seat post is too short — it doesn’t give enough height, and it would only insert about 50mm into the frame, which is not safe.
I need a 380mm seat post to get the correct saddle height.
With the 380mm seat post, about 130mm will still be inserted into the frame — this is safe and will not cause any damage."

They may however only sell the frame with the 300mm post like specialized so you will have to buy the seat post separately

I agree with all of the above. Just cut the post if needed. For reference, I run a total height to the saddle of 67.5 from center of  bb on 165's. 49 cm frame with the short post. At that saddle height it sits right at the "19" mark on the post, which I assume is 19mm from the minimum insertion, or it may just be arbitrary. I'd order the frame and the longer post, and just use whatever you need to use, either the short post or cut the 380 down.

@Sander, when you cut the seatpost, what did you do about the Di2 battery mounting clip? Did you drill new holes in, or is it sitting "loose"?

Take another battery holder option from AliExpress, there's one that expands with a screw and therefore sits really good in the seatpost

I'm asking because I'm going on vacation soon and want to avoid the frame arriving while I'm away if I order now. But ordering after the vacation would be too late for me – I still want to get some use out of it this season.

This happened to me! Lucky you, in case you are not at home, you can change the delivery via the DPD app to send it to your neighbor in the worst case.
All in all, I have to admit the whole delivery time + production time was quite fast... It’s more the impatience that made me nervous because I already had all the other parts at home, just waiting to be put in place...

Is there anybody who might be interested in a new pair of Ltwoo brake calipers from the new eRX kit? Since they don’t fit to the X68 frame from TanTan, they are no longer needed. Yes, spacers brush against the frame. I already have the new yoho frame, I've tried introducing the seapost of my x68 and it fits perfectly.
