Don't forget to add store coupons as well. Also it wouldn't hurt to ask a seller for a lower custom coupon deal. I've been offered those before that aren't advertised on the seller storefront.

This is gonna be a tough one. The cast magnesium frame is 25€ more expensive with 11.11 coupons than it was on mega choice day.

If I remember good last year it was also cheaper to buy before the 11.11 sale lol. Seems similar now.

On the other hand I bought a spexcel winter long sleeve on choice day now and today it's cheaper by 10% lol

The frame i wanted to buy went from 107€(92€ with megachoice coupon+coin) to 148€(132€ with 11.11 coupon+coin). Quite the shitty situation indeed.
Funnily EVERY other item to build the frame up is a good 15% cheaper than on megachoice day. Guess ill have to wait for black friday.

I reviewed the 60 items in my cart.  About 1/3 of them list the pending 11-11 price.  (All of the price reductions are between 10% and 15% off.  Out of these items, most are listed with a 8% to 15% price increase since June timeframe.)   I am not seeing any "big store" deals this time.  All of my US coupons are 10% to 16% off. - Last year, I had some 20% and 25% off coupons.

My excitement level is low for the 2024 sale.    :'(

All of the larger ticket items in my cart are not showing any 11-11 discounts.    I am glad that this is the "off" year where I wasn't planning any new frame up bicycle builds.  I was hoping for some good repeat purchases of hubs and carbon rims, but the 2 rims on sale that I purchased in June, are marked back down to the price they were in June.

You guys are divas!  ::)

Rule of thumb is to buy low when the opportunity arises. Who's to say prices will stay the same forever?

Also there are multiple sellers on AliEx, for example you can find several variations of the SPCycle G056 frameset. I'd just buy from the cheapest seller for that frame.

I would've liked to get that cast magnesium road frame but now its way out of my budget. On the other hand the simple alu gravel frame got in the range. Still in limbo in which frame to get. And even if i get either frames it would still take 6 or so months to finish it.

I always  search out the lowest prices from the more reputable stores.  Funny thing is that often, the lowest prices do not reflect shipping, so usually those stores end up costing more than the the higher price with free shipping.

One other thing that is becoming more prevalent is that you see an item priced way below everyone else.  I open the page only to find that they are selling an optional item at that price, and not the item shown in the picture on the listing.  When you select the item for the shown picture, the price is higher than the one you have in your cart.  Aliexpress stores really like playing these games.

I am already becoming burnt out trying to find the good deals.  Usually when this happens I decide not to make many purchases, as it becomes a time spent finding the deal, versus the value of my time.

If the new administration really adds a 60% tariff on all goods imported from China starting sometime next year, then we are screwed, and China is screwed.  One would think they would be trying to sell as much as possible at the lowest prices knowing that their sales will drop big time next year.

For me, lot of items that I have been eyeing but held up for 11.11 are showing at least some discount. That coupled with larger coupons I'm all set. Mini velo alloy wheelset will be down $13, not much but GOzone 700c wheelset will be down $37. Passquest 3mm offset chainring will be down $8. Not bad when you can stack coupon codes on top. One item that is not participating in the sale (but I was hoping) is Litepro Carbon 20inch wheelset. That one has stayed same price for last couple of months. Apart from that one, I find the sale good enough to push the buy button.

Lol. One of those two entities is definitely screwed and its not China.

Not the best store.
FWIW I have ordered for years from stores like store89729381293612637xyz based purely on prices (cheapest) with complete disregard to store rating and never received "unsatisfactory goods". I have indeed received unsatisfactory goods but that had nothing to do with seller rating. I just bought shit product. Wouldn't put too much stock in such tools but YMMV.
