Just follow all the steps to protect your battery cables like dielectric grease and liquid tape/rubber cement. Also quality batteries should be used as well. My ER9 groupsets have worked well, but with a few hiccups.

I'm also liking the liquid mask goo for this - very easy to deploy in the right places

What's the consensus on these RYET wheels? I was thinking of picking these up for my gravel bike. I don't need anything fancy or ultra lightweight, since they'll just get abused on the trails.

looks like a good deal - it would cost you $200+ for rims and $75+ for these hubs, so you're getting labor/spokes for free.

I have the Seemee200 one model down from yours. The light it creates is great, love that it lights up the ground around you, definitely makes you very visible. The battery on my model is not very good, but yours is quite a bit bigger than mine so hopefully that means the battery is bigger too.

I have bought a whole bunch of stuff this 11.11 including a set of Go-Zone wheels! 45mm deep 30mm wide and 1250g supposedly, hopefully these will bring my bike down to around 7kg!

Regarding the $x dollars off $y dollar order coupons, in my app it says the coupons are "restocking". Has anyone seen Ali actually refill the depleted coupons? I'm trying to hold off an order waiting for more coupons.

Do you have rim brake Wheeltop groupset? How's the brake lever action, snappy like Shimano or sloppy like SRAM

Regarding the brake action, they work pretty good.  I didn’t notice any difference between the Wheeltop or R7000 brifters.  I did recently try the EE knock offs.  Purchased back in Sept.  Those work but nowhere near as responsive as my Ultegra R8000 calipers.

Good to know. R7000s are excellent. I have fake EEs, those are terrible with any brifters. Ultegra calipers are vastly superior to those, undoubtedly. My idea was to pair Wheeltop with Ultegra R8000 calipers or may be Fouriers.

I have no experience with Ryet wheels. Only had their 3d saddle which was good quality.

But in general, almost all factories can make a round carbon structure quite well (aka the rims) and most spokes are either CX rays or Pillars. So it all comes down to the hub. Like I said, I don't have any hands-on experience with those hubs but just looking at their pictures and specifications provided, they should be okay. They also appear to have a safe spoke attachment so you don't have to fear facing a terminal loss of tension in all spokes if a few get loose or break due to an incident. Ratchet system is a nice addition as well at this price point.

I'd say I give them a try. However, depending on what gravel tires you wanna throw on them, you might want to consider a wider internal width. A quick search revealed that Ryet also has a gravel wheelset at a similar price and weight point, given it's a hub with a prawl system.

Never used this set specifically, but I had one of their 24mm inner width gravel wheelsets and had no complaints, I even raced them. They're now with a friend who beats them up daily and still going strong.

Not bike related, but i just bought a mini PC w/o RAM/SSD for 290 eur using the 60 11.11 discount, w a Ryzen 7 7840HS. My laptop has been driving me mad because of the noise it makes under load, and given its age, it feels under load a lot. I hate apple with a passion and i'm not in the US, so getting the mac mini m4 at 600$ is not an option for me, the cheapest i found it is 670 eur, and even then, there's all the apple non sense (I considered it assuming i'd run windows on it). 99% of the time, i have my laptop connected to a screen and mouse/keyboard, so i barely ever use it as a laptop, so i got a mini pc.
Compared to the local pricing i could find, and although i didn't trawl all of the internet, it looked like a good price. I'll source locally a bunch of ram and an SSD, and voila.

Point being: Aliexpress is a skill, at this point. I'm pleased with my 11.11 purchases, but it's a bit of an adventure to avoid leaving too much money on the table.

Yeah, and I also notice some items that I have bought on day 1 of the sale dropping in prices now... The Magene L508 radar was 110 USD (EU price) when I bought it and now it is only 96...

A general note on economic backdrop. Afaik, and last time i checked, China was in a deflationary environment. The growth has slowed down, the population is materially smaller than advertised (chinese official statistics are a vibe more than anything else, ultimately), the world economy overall isn't doing great at all (Europe is going to shit, US growth is highly questionable), so chinese bike parts should be deflationary overall, not inflationary.
A Luddite friend of mine just bought a 2nd hand SL7 for 6500 eur and he's very pleased with himself because he got "a great deal", so there are still plenty of such people, but generally, inventory isnt moving, prices are coming down, and people aren't buying.

That being said, it's not reflected in current Chinese carbon frames. Prices are pretty much the same they were a year ago or even higher while Western brands are cutting prices heavily due to stock not moving.

So either they are still getting good sales or haven't understood the current economics.

I have been wanting a full suspension frame to upgrade my hard tail but I am holding on the purchase because I think the prices will drop in the coming month and I am not really in a rush as I am in love with my current mtb. I will probably end up doing a full build and bring the HT to France to ride when I am there…
