Real tire clearance for the Long Teng LT RD-301D

Officially 38C max.

But what is the max in real?

I would love to use some Schwalbe G-one allround in 40mm (I have 19mm as well as 24mm rims).
Condition: no mud, light gravel stones.

What do you think? Will 40mm be possible?

I felt that it was a very specific point regarding this frame.

And that owners of this frame will not necessarily check all post on a generic thread regarding this frame once they already built it.

And last but not least, potential builder/ buyers of this frame with the same question will not have to read all 2 billion post in a generic thread.

Ok, so 40mm tires could work. I will most probably get this frame then.
Usage will be 50% tarmac/ 50% light gravel with in best case 40mm Schwalbe G-One allround tires.

40mm could work, but it's too close for the margin, you only have 5mm clearance on the 40mm tires, you need to take into consideration the tires could attract mud/sand/dirt, and those will be rubbing the carbon chainstay!!!

not a good idea for carbon.

I'm still holding out my recommendation for the RD301D, due to many hiccups along the way and lately found a serious design defect on the downtube storage cover. See my posts on the Long Teng thread.

It's not socialy awkward (seems like u don't even understand this term). It is just about at least some kind of order here, no to make a forum one big mess. This is pretty standard thing across various forum to prevent spam. If you don't understand it, then there is something awkward about you.
