I just received the 25 mm setback version. The carbon quality looks very good, although I always wish that the bolts were steel instead of aluminum for better durability. But I guess that's not what people buying a carbon post is looking for. The lettering that indicates minimum insertion is not straight, but the rest of the indicators are parallel to the post.

The clamp mechanism is 2 half carbon cylinders. Because of this the top clamp sticks out a little bit. The post is not compatible with all seats, in particular, the seats where there is a fold right over the rails. My SMP F20c fits but I could not clamp onto the very front of the rails (because the fold over the seat runs into the top clamp). If you run a more flat saddle you probably won't run into this issue. I appreciate that they included 7x7 and 7x9 rails.

It does have a great amount of fore/aft flex. Seems pretty comfortable. I weigh 60kg.

I probably wouldn't buy another another seatpost with this clamp design though, for the reasons I mentioned above.

The bolt is supposed to be titanium, which should be just fine.

That's very useful info, as this is really easy to overlook.

Personally, I'd  have no qualms chamfering the top half a little if it did poke out under the seat (assuming it'd fit height-wise in the first place). Nothing crazy, just taking the edge of, so to speak.

So I had a bit of an interesting event yesterday during an Xterra race: on a landing of a jump down a pretty fast trail, I was ended up landing on the seat with quite a lot of energy, and the saddle was pointing 30 degrees up, easily. It was so loud that I thought I had broken the seat post, so rode for about 2km like that without looking at it. My first thought was “at least I didn’t get carbon splinter up my ass”.on a flat section, realizing I had another 3km to go,  I reached for it to try and feel the crack (in the carbon), realized that maybe it wasn’t broken! I stopped, and everything was ok, hammered the saddle in position(ish) with my fist and I got going again.
Then after the race I was thinking, maybe the saddle locking system is a feature rather than a flaw, the way it rotated helped dissipate energy that the seat post would have had to absorb otherwise and maybe led to failure…

You thought correctly.
The saddle locking system must collapse before unload the force on the seatpost "stick"!

Well it worked, the noise it made was really really loud! I was convinced I broke it.
I need to take it appart to make sure there was no damages. I also need to look if I can put the lock bolt facing down so it can be accessed with the hex key from the top, through the saddle opening/cut-out rather than having to remove the saddle bag. I may not always be able to hammer fist it back in place

For those who bought it, any updates on the comfort on the seat post, does it do a great job dampen vibrations?

Thinking about ordering the straight/zero setback one and would appreciate any opinions.

On the MTB, hardtail, I perceived a good bit of extra comfort but placebo effect or not, hard to say

I've been riding mine on the gravel bike for several weeks. At first I didn't think the design didn't do anything special, but I rode my other gravel bike with a standard Elita One seat post and it did feel a bit stiffer. So I think the design does slightly dampen road buzz. I've had no issues with the saddle clamp using a RYET Arcode saddle with the T40 mesh.

At this point, if you can find one at a good price, I highly recommend it now.  ;)

Took it apart, all looked fine. I have now the bolt facing down and accessible from the top for quick tightening/adjustement. I am still unsure if that seat post is really a good choice from MTB, maybe more of a gravel option.

I could be missing a trick here, but I found it really frustrating to set a precise saddle tilt angle with this seat post. As I tightened the single bolt, the angle kept changing (the saddle tilted further to the back). So I ended up with a trial-and-error approach, where I loosened the bolt, tilted the saddle forward more than I wanted, tightened up the bolt, and checked what the final angle was. Took a number of attempts to get it to where I wanted.

With the two-bolt design of the regular Elita One seat post (and from many other brands), I can just alternate between tightening the front and the rear bolt until I get the angle I want. I know this is not following the instructions from Elita One, but it worked for me with their regular seat posts.

I tighten it quite a bit, adjust with some amount of force and then torq it down

mine cracked

That sucks! Did it crack under normal riding conditions?
