Review: Cyclami Pump A2s
« on: November 22, 2024, 04:17:33 PM »
I have bought 2 of of those Cyclami minipumps A2S. Advertised as up to 120 PSI.

Well quick review: one of them has enough battery life to pump a single 28x622 tyre to 80 PSI, but sometimes malfunctions displaying EO code. Needs to be recharged to reboot. The other does not pump over 50 PSI at all. In both units pressure display is wonky and unless you hold it absolutely perfect perpendicular to a rim in a vice like grip it shows random numbers. I have tried pumping 2.5 inch MTB tyre - well... no go.

Thank you for the heads up.

My AirBank mini pum has been solid. It’s pretty much replaced my air compressor at this point. It’s seated mtb and gravel bike tire too.

The airflow is sufficient to seat tubeless tires ?
Well nowadays tires improved dimensions and can be seated with a foot-pump, but interesting to know.

If it was seated before, maybe.
Initial seating, no chance. The "big" xiaomi does not work, as its just small bursts with now volume

My A2s is on delivery for Monday, your review does not sound too good.

Update: Arrived today.
Well battery indicator is random. After 1 tyre it's indicating empty. I can't imagine it works up to 100psi. It was struggeling with 60psi already.
After plugging it to the charger it says full after 5 minutes.

So it seems my 2 units were a representative sample. Too bad. It would be a really nice gadget if it worked

i've had bad luck thus far with electric AliEx pumps.  Tried a no-name, followed by a Cyclami A3, and both have a tendency to overheat and shut down after taking a 700c tire to 80 psi.  I got a Rockbros one next and hoping it works better.

we have tried many of the pumps and in our case, we are only selling cycplus pumps.

Almost no defectives, very small and light and ideal for discwheels, as it comes with a little adaptor for reaching the valve in tiny areas..

I recently purchased the A2S and so far it's been good. I have no issues pumping up a completely flat tyre but cannot use the pump to top up a partially filled tyre. The instructions say to start the pump and let it run for a few seconds and then press against the valve but it just cuts out - it seems like the air pressure escaping is too much against the pump and it just shuts down. Anyone have any suggestions ?

We have identified a potential non-compliance issue with a recent product you have purchased.
Product Name:"150 PSI Real-time Data Display Portable Pocket Bike Air Electric Pump CYCLAMI Rechargeable AUTO Tire Inflator For Bicycle Car"
Cause for the potential problem:Intellectual Property Infringements

For me the Cyclami worked so far. Battery showed low charge in very cold temperature after short usage, but that's a common issue. After warming up, it showed the real charge

Battery indicator does not work at all.
Even within the apartment it drops from 3 to blink 1 within 1 tyre at 50 psi.

I'm curious, what do they want you to do with the product if its flagged for IP infringement?

I bought an a3s and it has been pretty great so far. I wish it was a little smaller but it inflates fast and so far I haven't run the battery dead. I used it for the first time on a ride a few days ago and was pleased with the result and pleased to not deal with a co2 cartridge.

Given the number of variations of the same product, I'm sure it is luck of the draw about which ones are good and which ones suck.

Just wondering on a verdict. Seems super hit an miss on the cyclami. The cycplus looks a little big for my needs is there any others people have tried or recommended.

My a2s works for up to two tyres, but the battery indicator is whacky, it goes down after just two bars and recharging it climbs way to fast to full...
I would personally avoid it and just buy the proper cycplus model.

I recently purchased this "Offbondage" branded one. I've only used it a few times, but so far so good. Haven't pushed it past 80 PSI yet.
