How's the tire clearance on the FL1? I've seen people in this thread run 32mm tires, how's the clearance around those and are the tires 32mm WAM?

i'm using gp5000 tlr 32mm on 26 inner rim and they're like 34-35 and there is a lot of space

I have 30mm GP5000 clinchers on 24 innner. They're a 32mm WAM after 2000km with a clear 7mm all round.

I'm not entirely sure. I was going for one of the example paintjobs from their website, then Linda sent me a catalog of FL1 paintjobs and I picked one from that. From the pic it looks a bit pearlescent which wasn't really visible in the picture 1 but might have been in the catalog one. The color code is YS955 but also specifying it's transparent and perhaps also pearlescent/metallic?

I'm currently riding a Velobuild R268. I'm happy with it, but I frequently participate in hill climb races, so I'm looking for a UCI-certified frame. The ride feels more like an endurance bike, but do you think it would be suitable for racing?

The geometry (in size 54) is basically the same as Tarmac SL8 which is the 'standard race bike' (which is also pretty similar to your Velobuild). Do you really need the UCI sticker? Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth the 'upgrade'.

I am currently working with Sherry with the custom paint design. All I have to say is that they are very very accommodating and patient with all the ideas and changes along the way. Hope to finalize the it within a week or so.
