Btw it's "Taiwan Eisen" not "Taiwanese(en)"

Here is their official site: https://taiwaneisen.cc
They have direct copies of most of the current western frames

Ok thanks and they are on Aliexpress.
Obviously this has been done a million times but what's people opinions of them? I'm assuming its a mixed bag!

I think the chance that they're both doing the same steerer as the original product, including the kevlar braid, but from two different factories, is close to zero.

They're almost certainly using the same factory for the fork at the very least.  Frame may indeed be different factories. I think this is the same 'Taiwanese' (probably nothing to do with Taiwan at this point) clone seller with loads of shopfronts on AliExpress. The quality of their frames is usually significantly higher than TanTan.

Just curious if you have actually compared the two side by side ?

Not side by side, but I saw one of the supposedly Taiwanese frames from this seller, a Cipollini copy, a couple of years ago.  It was significantly cleaner inside than Factor and Cervelo stuff the dealer who was servicing it had.  Most of the stuff in the Fauxstro thread looks decent.  I've seen TanTan stuff in the flesh a bunch of times.  It's varied from OK to WTF.

So they're actually "(Western Mainland) Taiwan Eisen"?  ;)

Hi guys, I might be missing something with the geometry of this frame.
I'd expect it to be quite racey, but in size 56 I see 575 stack and 389 reach, that seem to be more to the upright/endurance side.
Is it so?
Or am I not considering some other key parameter?

Hi, when buying second hand bike, how one can spot copy from orginal (eg. Cannondale0? Is it even possible?

If you are able to get the serial number, you could double check with the manufacturer that it is a legit serial number. You can also ask the seller if they have the original receipt. Assuming it's a newer frame, hopefully they would have it. On Buycycle it's usually listed in the ad if they have the receipt.

There was a recent YT video where Trek warrantied a clearly fake AliX frame as authentic, it was crazy how incompetent Trek was at keeping its ducks in order.
The Lightcarbon 17D is very different in real life from the real one.
Beyond that, i have no pre canned answer. But usually people who ride bikes and sell their bikes are transparent and can show proof of what they claim. It's people who sell bikes but dont ride them that often sell the dubious stuff.

Yeah!
I saw this video as well they had to argue with Trek that it’s was not real!
Crazy crazy

Has anyone received this frame? I like the geometry of the SSE and have been looking for something similar. The LCR017 may be a bit too low in the stack for me. I'm 188cm, long legs but medium length torso and have hip flexor issues(pelvic cam lesions cause impingement).
Im wondering about the quality of this or if there is a better alternative?

What about the delta steerer in the X69, are people reporting issues? Any good fixes?

Well, the name x69 is back on instagram, but kinda seems like another bike:

I asked about weights:

frame weight:836/+-40g
fork weight:345/+-40g
seatpost weight:216/+-30g
handlebar weight:386/+-30g

Some quick pics to see it differs from the other photos in this thread:
