Is the seatpost new? On my frame, which I purchased in January last year, I have a different saddle mount. I saw it on Alix: https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005009069060683.html

It is the 0 offset version....usually the 15mm offset version is supplied with the frame.

Rear tyre is 35wam with a couple of mm clearance. May not be enough but going to try it to see if I get any witness marks on the chainstays

Well, this was probably the easiest bike I've ever put together.
All the cables and hoses went through with no fuss or bother. Kudos to Lightcarbon for the bars, they really were simple.
Probably a five minute job with a file to tidy up the brake mounts.
BB was nice and clean and threaded in by hand.
30k shakedown this morning with no issues.
Comfortable and nipped along quite happily. Hit 70kph with confidence and no wobbles.
No seat slipping either at the clamp or in the frame
35.5mm wam rear tyre didn't touch the frame.
You can wiggle and shift the bars and make things look alarming like GCN, but I can do that with my FL1 or my brother's Cervelo S5 bars. I've put a 100mm fork expander in but don't think you need to. I gave it a couple of sprints with my meager wattage and it all felt solid enough.
Good bike I think.

The Spcycle 0 offset seatpost I ordered has arrived...unfortunately, unlike the pictures in the sales ad, the seatpost has a glossy anti-slip part that I really don't like.
I tried contacting Spcycle, and that's the only way they make it...so either I find someone who can repaint it all satin black, or I'll return it and buy another SL8-compatible model (probably with a side clamp).

Strange...they told me they only make it with a non-slip surface because otherwise the seatpost would risk slipping.
Did you buy it directly from them along with the frame or on Aliexpress?

Thx for confirming the GCN thing, I started to believe it was me. Build of two of these bikes and both have a fair bit of wiggling when leaning on the bar. Still the fastest bike I ever rode.

Could someone recommend me some good integrated handlebars for this frame? I got a Kocevlo Roval Rapide clone, but lost all confidence in them as they were very flexible and made funny carbon noises just being touched.

Had my eyes on LightCarbon HBR17, but they don't have my size in stock.

I've been using this handlebar https://it.aliexpress.com/item/1005006309729622.html for I think 1000km, I haven't had any problems whatsoever, in fact the cable routing has been super useful, the only thing is to be careful with the spacers which require modification to make them more manageable.
