Don't buy branded ones.  And don't buy the cheaper ones.  I think more than one factory is making these.  I've seen some good ones and some bad.  But then I've also seen genuine Syncros ones with wildly inconsistent wall thickness, creasing and voids ...

The Kocevlo cockpit is on the short list, but I’m not sure if it will fit mechanically shifting

it does fit mechanical shifting. Scott has 1-1/4 inch steering tube so it won't fit
