Narrow integrated handlebars
« on: January 30, 2025, 09:27:22 PM »
Hi all,

I’ve been on the constant search for some narrow integrated handlebars.

Ideally, they would have a reach of 80mm, stem of 120, and width as narrow as 32cm on top, 34cm at the hoods, and 36/38cm at the drops.

Bigrock is the closest one I can find to my desired layout.https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrGlCZV

Am I missing any others?

That sort of things caught my eye: https://a.aliexpress.com/_Exh2nug

32/36cm.
That Garmin mount probably makes it pretty aero for a non integrated setup.
It's clearly designed for the road given all the cable exit holes.
Fast on the flat. And nowhere else.

I'm pleased with the look/stiffness/weight of my Lexon Vero.   Haven't fitted yet but my 360/110 came out at around 310g.  Narrower at hoods.  If I angle inwards I reckon my hand position will be inside 30cm.  Net cost with discounts when I purchased was 85 GBP.

+1 for the lexon vero. I have it in 36/120 super stiff in the hoods. Mine was around 320 grams.

Hi, Do you have 360 mm width in the hoods or is it the 340 mm version?
Did you weigh the computer mount? Thanks!

Just a headsup on the Lexon Vero, I have one as well and is pretty good fit for my T1550g2 but I had problems with the computer mount. The inset screws were not squarely done so I had to grind the mount holes bigger and use longer screw plus washer to somehow center it when installed.

already found the weight for the computer mount, 56 gram. quite heavy which unfortunately  outweigh a lot the good weight of the bar.

I have the 360 width at hoods version. I had the same front screw issue, because one of the screw supplied, is "just" long enough for it to fit. Actually the computer mount was only 30 grams.

I swapped it for an OG-evkin carbon computer mount which fits perfectly. Also the og-evkin is only 19 grams.

I've noticed more demand for narrower integrated handlebars, but for me I find the 36/42 option from BMC to be the sweet spot. It would be great if Peter or another manufacturer could offer quality narrow handlebars with some flare for descents at an affordable price.

I have flared bars on my gravel bike, i hate them. I understand how you need wide bars to sprint, but to descend? flare in the drops just makes me catch the wind more. And as to control when descending technical stuff on gravel, when i do that, i'm braking, so i'm not on the flared part of the drops.

Well, for me, 40cm matches my shoulder width, so when I'm descending at 60+ km/h, having 42cm bars at the drops still gives me more stability and control compared to being on the drops with 36cm bars, and I'm not catching much more wind

Also, I forgot to mention sprints in my first message, my bad
