Just some snippet in lightcarbon new video in yt, looks like they have this with a wider tire clearance and looks like LCR018-D design and they make Lameda Frames Too?

That gravel variant is interesting. Different head tube. The fork doesn't have the silly lobes on the dropouts. Rear tire clearance looks massive. Both chainstays look slightly dropped. Those bars make no sense in it.

LC Are a B2B. They just happen to sell single units directly to customers.

I’m sure they would  much rather make 100 identical frames, than 100 individually specced and painted 1 offs to 100 customers continuously changing their minds on colour etc.

I’m sure they’ve learned many lessons from the 18-Ds success, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they won’t allow so many options in future.

There's exactly 3mm of clearance everywhere. If it were a slick tire, I'd ride it like that immediately and wouldn't be asking you, but with this tread pattern, I'm a bit worried a stone might damage my frame. 😬

It's an XMCS wheelset 50/36/28mm with Schwalbe G-One R Pro 45mm/40mm tires which are absolutely perfect 45 and 40mm wide on the rims 👌

The first thing that will rub are those spews on the tires. Maybe consider trimming them.

New paint video just dropped. It's funny to see how little effort was made to hide the LAMBDA graphics toward the end of the piece.

I mostly agree with Potoo. LC is clearly B2B-first, and from a production point of view they’d obviously rather make 100 identical frames than 100 one-off customs.

That said, LC just posted a video actively promoting customisation, so it is something they’re pushing right now. My guess is this works because custom paint is high-margin and doesn’t hit the main carbon layup bottleneck (if this is where the bottleneck is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).
